KarlaKoaster
If I'm not mistaken most of the smaller dive machines do come to a stop. Most likely since the trains are lighter. IIRC Krake comes to a complete stop and it has the same 6-across setup as Valkyria. Oh yes, you're right! I guess my pointless observation was even more pointless than I gave it credit for
Apollo von Sol
Wow!! That POV really stands out. This is one of the best dive coasters layout in my opinion. I love the overbanked high speed turn and the two barrel rolls, much better than a second drop in my opinion, I rather have these elements than a second drop! DoinItForTheFame
New video from Liseberg /// Marcus Man, that thing looks amazing. It surprisingly looks more intense and better paced than the larger dive machines. Looks like a GREAT addition to the park!

dcxs
Omg I will actually be in Gothenburg around the 10th! This is kinda far fetched but does anyone by chance have a free entry ticket? I would looooooove just one ride on Valkyira . These tickets were handed out like paper a few years ago I think, and there are some Liseberg employees here heheeee . (Have already been once to Liseberg this year, so 500SEK for a couple of Valkyra rides is a bit steep )
viking86
Well, I will be in Gothenburg from Thursday to Sunday this week. I have not yet decided if I will visit Liseberg on Thursday/Friday or Friday/Saturday yet, but if any fellow TPR members are at the park and would like to meet up feel free to let me know. I always enjoy meeting up with fellow enthusiasts.

lond
Where does the singlerider line start? For me it looks like the main entrance is just regular and express? There is actually five cues (frist row, fast pass, single rider, the rest of the train & disability), the disability cue start @ the photo booth, the rest of the lines splits after the main entrance. /// Marcus
Nrthwnd
Thanks for all the great photos, Marcus. It looked like a great Media Day for everybody. By the way, in the second to last photo...is that a stream of water spraying towards the track...and the riders? Or are my eyes playing tricks with me. Thought I would ask. CarolinaJay
Honestly truly, no hate or anything, but Val has one of THE better/best layouts to date for a dive coaster. Not sure why B&M wasn't that creative for the one's here in the States.
ZeroGravity55
^ When B&M is given a flat piece of land, with no restrictions, they tend to be more boring. When they're given certain restrictions and have to work around things, it forces them to become creative, as it does with any other designer. Does single rider still let you on the front or is it back rows only? Edited August 9, 2018 by cookiex
A.J.
Honestly truly, no hate or anything, but Val has one of THE better/best layouts to date for a dive coaster. Not sure why B&M wasn't that creative for the one's here in the States. ^ When B&M is given a flat piece of land, with no restrictions, they tend to be more boring. When they're given certain restrictions and have to work around things, it forces them to become creative, as it does with any other designer. When B&M was doing SheiKra and Griffon, the modern dive coaster was still a new thing. For all we know, Canada's Wonderland's upcoming dive coaster could be an even better layout than Valkyria's. I also call shenanigans on the "flat piece of land" thing. Shambananacreampie, Katun, Nitro, Raptor / Monster, Diamondback, Valravn... All apparently really good B&Ms that were built on open plots of land.
