DougMJr
Looks great, and with a full train and harder wheels it is going to fly over that last airtime hill!
SFFTfan
Great video and being that I drive by on 1604 and get to see it everyday, makes me want to ride it even more. The direction the lift hill points and with the lights on at night, it looks alot taller than SKC even though there is not that much of a height difference. scbt
Man, that last hill coming out of the tunnel going into the brakes looks like it's going to give some huge airtime.
ArizonaGuy
I was watching the video again an noticed from the top of the lift........Is it me or did they lay white rock around the coaster on top of the quarry wall??? It looks like they laid some cover up rock in a "u" shape from the barrel roll all the way around to where the train flys off the side of the quarry wall. Looks nice around the area nontheless. I can't wait for my next visit.
jray21
The ride really does look amazing! The cars look great, the ride looks like it hauls, it has a tunnel, and it goes off of a cliff! Really amazing looking ride!
Tmcdllr
I wish I lived closer so I could try this, it looks like it's going to be really fun.
JJLehto
That first airtime hill...it was hauling some major ass over that thing.
boardwalkbullet91507
Wow. I can't wait to ride this thing. It looks incredible. RMC really outdid themselves this time. I have alot of great memories of the original Rattler so I can't wait to ride it again and create more memories now that it's the Iron Rattler.... plus it's considered another credit and I don't have that many so I kinda need it. I like how they left the lights on in the tunnel, it really shows how tight it is. I never knew it was that compact. Lets just hope they keep them on! I think they said they would in a video but nothing is for certain.

ArizonaGuy
Is 5/17 the official opening day? May 17th is the VIP party. SFFT hasn't officially announced the opening day to the GP. Some people are thinking it'll be Saturday the 18th but previous recent interviews have stated Memorial Day Weekend. Anyone know different? angrynerdjosh
I was under the impression that 5/15 was the media event and 5/17 was GP. then again I don't know if they are open 5/17 but I know they are 5/24. That's when I'm making my trip to San Antonio. It needs to open the week before so its not as insanely busy the Friday I go.
ArizonaGuy
^^ Humm....I thought the VIP event on May 17th was the media event as well. Oh well I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure Robb A. will probably be the first one to know the scoop and I'm sure he'll post as soon as he finds out. *side note* awesome pics that were posted earlier. Major coaster porn! TyRush
According to the almighty Wikipedia...which i can edit myself, says Vip and Media Events are on May 17th. Im trying to find a more reliable source now.....

Brassinthegrass
Dont take this as me not liking this ride, I hope to get the chance next year to get down and ride it... but, I wish they switched the zero G roll and the air time hill, I feel like a zero G roll into that tight tunnel would have been a lot more exciting than what is there now... Still a great ride though!

You haven't even ridden it yet and you're already revising the ride and saying they should have done X vs Y etc???? *sigh* This coaster is going to be amazing and will put SFFT on the map. ernierocker
Could be the most efficient use of track I have ever seen on a coaster. Every foot of that ride looks like it is going to kick all kinds of ass.
