^ That's the whole idea! As he hangs up on you your screen changes in your browser. It worked perfectly for me and I thought it was very well done how in sync it was.

the tricks with the christmas thing aren't over.

after you get your phonecall and the page changes to say Merry Lexmas, click on the gift at the bottom of the tree that has an L on the box and you'll get another call. Then- if you enter the code 473128965, the page will change again and say about aquired properties in NJ, linking the Medusa transformation to Clawshun Industries as well

Good find. The thing is actually VERY well synched. Every number you press on the phone instantly triggers a sound file on the web page. Quite impressive.

It's a musical sorting game. Each key corresponds to a different snippet of Jingle Bells. Press the keys in the correct order to play the entire song and it unlocks the page with the note. The order posted above is correct, but I had to wait until the sound file played completely before hitting the next key in order for it to work.

In any case, here is the note. Notice the blue background...

It would make a lot more sense if the Superman ride were being refurbished, not Medusa.

I pointed out on another site, a fan one of SFGADV, when I saw the blue repainted track of Medusa that Six Flags has the Superman: Krypton Coaster name in use at SFFT for their FLOORLESS. I pointed out Shockwave as well. With the recycling of the Goliath name and lil coaster fans complaining about SFGADV's Medusa's paint, I sure was not, it turns out to be the perfect timing for this new paintjob. Why waste the retheme on SUF? The location of the coaster, yes, brings up the question. I do want to complete the game with the Christmas card though I now know what the message is.

Whomever is doing the Marketing for them needs to get a BIG bonus for that great effort!

If they do that, they might have to cut out some fire effects and paint for next year. All joking aside Six Flags is getting better with the marketing. Now we just need the bus with " that old guy"

Yea...aside from the two subpar marketing campaigns ("You Are Here" and the "One Flag, Six Flags") it seems like they've hit a homerun. Still, it couldn't hurt to start up a petition to BRING BACK MR. SIX!!!

I am not sure that Superman is really going to be purple. If you view the construction photos on SFNEOnline.com under the Superman Transformation, One shows bottles of degreaser which are labeled as "industrial purple", this may not actually be the color of the track. It may only be temporary.

Posted

^Why would they coat the track with purple degreaser? Why would anyone even make purple degreaser? Unless, of course, they used purple degreaser so that when they painted it purple, the degreaser didn't subtract from it.

I think it's going to be purple.

A lot of degreasers used by corporations and companies are purple. It's almost an industry standard for solutions.

It's purple, but it doesn't stain purple. I've used it. Its just like window washing solutions. Looks blue, but doesn't stain blue, let alone appear like paint on metal.

There will be a town meeting on the 26th for the SROS transformation to get approval. I had the chance to see the plans for the ride and imo it looks like it will make the ride even better. You can see a big update on sfneonline following the town meeting.

I missed this when it was originally put up, but on February 3rd the fictional "Clawshun Industries" created a new website at http://www.seetheride.com/ which has pictures of the SFNE S:RoS and SFGAdv Medusa construction. The site also claims both rides will open Memorial Day.

There is also a new message on the Clawshun Industries home page:

CLAWSHUN RESPONSE TO DAILY PLANET ARTICLE ON ROLLER COASTER TRANSFORMATIONS

Clawshun Industries believes the recent Daily Planet article in their Special Edition entitled "Lex Luthor Takes Six Flags For A Ride" is deeply irresponsible and biased. Not a single Clawshun representative was contacted for the article, which mostly consisted of wildly speculative attacks on Clawshun and a fantastical notion that Lex Luthor is directing our company. While it's true that LexCorp owns Clawshun, we are an independent and autonomous entity that only is interested in serving the public and our shareholders. Any suggestion otherwise is simply wrong, and a disservice to the great people at Clawshun working hard to deliver the best roller coasters yet. Clawshun is devoted to creating the best experience possible for coaster fans.

They both look better than they originally did. Re-branding and re-marketing these existing rides is BRILLIANT. Who ever instigated this program deserves one of those bonuses they are giving out on wall st.

I guess the only problem I have is that both rides are the same colors, albeit reversed on the track and supports. I can't wait to see the finished products, though. I wonder what else they'll be adding to both rides...
