I know a lot of people here on the Forums don't much care for thecoasterguy14 on Youtube, but I do enjoy his videos. Here is a video of possible future Coasters for SFNE and I actually agree with his prediction. He states that SFNE recently released a five year plan that includes two new Coasters. I agree that a launched will replace Flashback. Also, I agree RMC will come to SFNE. I do not think they will renovate Cyclone. I think either a new RMC woodie will go somewhere else in the Park, or that Cyclone will be demolished and the RMC will go in its place. Thoughts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6x98OLSf1c

I like the idea of sending Flashback to Six Flags over Georgia. Unless I'm forgetting one it's the only park in the chain that doesn't have (and has never had) a traditional boomerang with the exception of Magic Mountain and Great Adventure where the ride would probably be impractical because of it's limited capacity.

Other than that, I guess I like the predictions of a small premier launched coaster and a RMC coaster (probably replacing Cyclone) but they've done a lot of work to Cyclone lately and Flashback for some reason frequently has a full queue so it's possible that ride won't be going anywhere.

SFGAdv also has never had a Boomerang.

You're right, but like I mentioned in my last post I highly doubt they'd want to put one there with it's awful capacity since that park sees huge crowds. I could be wrong (they have a wild mouse in a box) but I really don't see that ever happening.

Noooo SFOG Already has too many low capacity rides. I think they should just sell or scrap flashback. Or give it to six flags st louis for dueling boomerangs . But flashback is obviosly going somewhere soon, the question is where... Also since you mentioned a premier launcher.. Ithink it would be pretty cool if they replaced flashback with a superman ultimate flight(sfdk) clone. ( although maybe not in the exact same spot)

My complaints about Six Flags New England have been frequent as I really feel like this park has gotten progressively worse since around 2005 with constant removals of flat rides and theming that gave the park it's charm. The removal of the iconic ferris wheel was inexcusable as was the removal of Timber Town, the Log Flume and Shipwreck Falls to be replaced by rides with ridiculous color schemes that killed any and all theming in the park (I love Goliath but it looks horrible in Crackaxle Canyon). Combine this with their incredibly rude staff members and I always leave this place annoyed.

That being said I'm really hoping this ride is a step in the right direction. It's going to be an iconic ride, roughly twice the height of anything else in the park and it should have mass appeal. It's also going to be nice to have an observation style ride since the park has a nice setting that goes totally unnoticed from the paths and can only really be appreciated from the coasters and from Scream now that the Ferris Wheel is gone. While the ride will scare some people it's still going to give a wider range of guests the opportunity to view the park from the air than the coasters do.

^Coming from someone who visits Great Adventure regularly, I loved Six Flags New England. The entrance and all the shops in that area were so charming. The rides seemed to be maintained very well. And contrary to the things I had heard about Thunderbolt and Cyclone, I thought they were great rides! I also thought the staff were incredibly friendly... Plus Goliath and Bizarro.

I really hope to go back this season, but it doesn't look too likely. Im not sure if I would ride the new Skyscreamer though... It's tall.

I agree with RideOfSteel. Being a regular to SFGAdv (not a season pass holder, but at least 2 trips a summer). I have to say that I do enjoy SFNE. It may have changed over the years, but so if life! Sometime things need to go down a little bit prior to it moving back up an upswing! Im sure the park will continue to build a new vision and lead into the future nicely!

Can not wait for the New England sky screamer A.K.A. NESS. I's about time that SFNE gets a world record. It's going to have a great view of the Connecticut river and the rest of New England. Can Not wait until opening day!

Yep, it's not like there's a multi-time winning Golden Ticket winning coaster in the park!

Can't wait for 2014. I feel like whatever coaster replaces Flashback won't be spectacular. There just isn't enough room!

Thinking of doing a trip to SFNE along with a few other parks (SFGAdv, Lake Compounce, Canobie Lake Park, and Great Escape. Possibly Rye Playland too) this summer. Going to get a Six Flags America pass again so I can get into SFNE, SFGAdv, and Great Escape for free. Should one full day be enough to get oodles of rides on Bizarro and the rest of the coasters, plus do the waterpark? Or should I plan to spend a day and a half if I want to do both?

1 day should be fine if you only want to ride each coaster a few times. If you want ride more than that I suggest a day and a half
