^That is one of the rumors i have heard, Screamscape also has heard it to. When i was at the park for on ride training, the fence wasnt installed but the "supports" for it was, and i noticed a couple flag markers in the pile of dirt. They havent cleared out anything other than the funnel cake and old WWC entrance. So if anything unless things change, im betting on a new flat ride.

 

 

BUT it could be something else. Maybe a GCI woody? I dont think wed see a giga that close to Diamondback.

 

 

Whenever i get a chance to go to the park as a guest, i will be sure to ride the train and get some pics if its not fenced off from the backside.

..and there's a lot of trees in the area, too. Wood coasters come from felled trees as well... though I still think a Giga is the parks next ride.

It would be neat if they had Diamondback and a Giga Coaster right next to each other, looking up seeing two big coasters! Wow! I doubt it though. Might be another log ride. Love the speculation!

Fingers crossed it's not the log ride as my son is just now tall enough to ride it this year. He just rode it 3 times in a row and loves it!

Wood coaster (RMC?!!!) Seems reasonable, but I hope this won't be a BGW-level letdown! Cedar Fair did get Gold Striker, proving wood is a legitimate contender in this!

Nothing is quick today. The line for panda express. I estimate it at just over an hour.

It's opening day. The crew sucked last year but give them a chance. No crew is going to be overly fast on opening day.

Some of the systems were down for the drink refills bar codes, so it made for huge lines at panda express. The wife left the line after a half hour. Trip report coming soon.

The lady next to us was in line for Panda Express, she said it took her an hour and a half to get her food.

Man, opening days for some parks can get rough.

You mean to tell me people actually stood in line for horrible food (Panda Express blows) that is way overpriced while at a theme park? Where there's tons of distractions? I can't wrap my head around that mentality. If I see a line longer than two or three people for food I keep walking. It's theme park food, not 5-star dining.
