arrowfanman
Well, less sexy, but still acceptible, my update is ready. If you are so cemented to the construction, that you are willing to see the same crap again, click on the picture:
Mr.Six
I'm getting an uneasy feel knowing that the construction crew is taking coloring breaks. Nice pics BTW. _six
Blazen_AZN
Wow, things seem like they are really start to pick up! Nice update. And sadly, Tweedy is a male. One of my old teachers was a Tweedy fanatic and she wrote a letter to Disney or something like that and they told her. if tweedy is indeed male, why is he so scared of the pussy cat? nice update, both of you. on that new peice of track (the one robb doesn't want us to know about) wouldnt those step things mean that track is vertical??, that would be one odd menuver if it is. I cant see it being vertical. Especially since, if you look at the second pic of it, you can see that the spine tapers back, which means that it will be next to a brake or lift segment. No clue, really. They aren't level with each other, and are quite a-ways away from each other.

arrowfanman
Whoops...might as well make an ass out of myself, before someone does it for me. Sorry guys. The track piece that I claimed was new, was there last week. As a matter of fact, it is in both my and Robb's update from 10/29. So other than those strange things in the far corner of the lot (which who knows if that was already there or not!), there was nothing new in the part lot. PURE
Did you know that many of the footers for X went down like 70 ft! Which makes sense considering parts of the ride after the first hill (especially the turn-around that's over the station) are very high above ground, probably 100 feet...and the way the ride was built on that hill is pretty phenominal. Which leads me to believe a 30 foot deep footer probably isn't going to be supporting track much higher than 30-40 feet. Awesome updates all around. Thanks a lot...and I think some of you should stop making the wisecracks about them, be thankful you even get updates... I believe someone asked if construction was moving slowly for a coaster...I'd say they're moving pretty well considering the landscape and obstacles they have to deal with (For example, a footer in the waterfall near the front of the park? Holey cow! Whoda ever thunk that?)...footers are boring to watch, but it seems like they dropped a whole lot of them this week, there are probably a lot we can't see just because of the location. Honestly, it just makes it worse looking every day--even every week...this stuff just takes time, soon enough you'll know whats going on and you'll be able to ride... Tmcdllr
I'll just say this now... WOW! 100 pages discussing this ride and it hasn't even been built yet!! Guy T. Koepp
100 pages! Woo Hoo! Is this the longest thred in TPR history? I've got a great plan. When I'm there with my kids this afternoon. I'll tell Jarett to chase January into the construction office. I will then follow them both into the building "trying to wrangle them." (wink, wink) After entering, I will create a diversion and enlist the help of the foreman and any workers to capture them. While their busy chasing my kids around. I will snap a few photos of the blue prints. Who's with me? Realy! It'll work! I hope! Guy "Blindly leading my kids down the primrose path of crime." AllenA07
For those of you who have never really followed construction before, the footer stage is not that bad... It's the fact that after they pour the footers, there is going to be a period of time where it appears absolutely nothing happens, as they allow the concrete to cure. WillMontu
For the Tweedy debate, I remember watching a segment on Cartoon Network sometime back about "interviews" with the characters. Sylvester said that if he ever caught Tweedy, he would "give him back his wallet he lost three years ago" or something like that. As for the blueprints, do CJ did in GTA-SA: trigger the fire alarm. USCoaster
The depth of the footers has more to do with where the bedrock is located than height of the ride at that point. They have to make sure the ride is anchored to something stable below the less than desirable California soil which, as seen in the past, likes to slide down the hill. SFMM rocks my socks
100 Pages WoW!! By the way the footers there digging and pooring at the same time so that I think means that the supports will go up as the rest of the footers are being poored or drying. DATman
^It takes at least a month for them to dry, so don't be surprised that the next few updates will be just the same old footers
Guy T. Koepp
Yeah, It seemed the same way with Silver Bullet. It was... like forever for them to finish the footer portion. Then suddenly the lift hill was started and three weeks later the whole thing was put together. Before we knew it the magic globe was traveling the track. Ohhh! does anybody know if "Tatoo" will get a magic globe. Guy "I'd do a number of unmentionable things to ride in the globe." Koepp
