I live in Mechanicsville MD so....

SFA is about 45 minutes away.

KD is about 1 and a half hours away.

BGE is about 2 and a half hours away.

Hersheypark is about 3 and a half hours away.

Looking at satellite images of major highways it looks like Knoebels is about the same distance as Hersheypark but in a different direction.

4 major parks within a few hours of my house, yay!

Mine *was* Geauga Lake, but we know what happened to that. Cedar Point is the closest in-state park though I haven't been there in 4 years. Disney was my local park when I lived in central Florida.

Ditto all that except you forgot Universal Studios:Hollywood (I've never been!). Work in Carlsbad, live in San Marcos. I currently have season passes to Legoland for the kid and I and SFMM for myself and the kid gets to tag along.

Stricker's Grove would technically be my home park as it is the closest at only 15 minutes up the road. Kings Island is my main park though, I spent most of my summers working at The Beast. Now I work at White Water Canyon, hoping to spend the 2011 season at Diamondback.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom- 1 hour 40 mins, roughly 85 miles one way.

California's Great America- anywhere from 1 hour to 2 and a half hours away depending who's driving and traffic.

Six Flags Magic Mountain.... 6-10 hours.

I live in Valencia, CA and I'm less than 5 minutes away from Six Flags Magic Mountain. I drive right by it every time I leave my house to go anywhere. Of course, we also have Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios Hollywood, and many other parks within a stone's throw from here.

I live in Dallas (Plano to be exact), and I guess Six Flags Over Texas would be my home park which is about 45 min away. Though I live closer to Sandy Lake Park which is about 15 min. My true HOME park would be Thorpe Park since I was born in Uxbridge,UK. But I only lived there until I was four. (I wished I still lived there!)

Even though I live in South Florida, now (according to my 6 Flags Season Pass) my home park is Magic Mountain.

I have both a 6 Flags season pass and Cedar Fair (Carowinds) season pass.
