I love the Alveys!

Hey Everyone,

 

I don't post much on the boards here in the main forum and decided to add my 2 cents in here.

 

I just wanted to show my appreciation to this site and to Robb and Elissa for I have made many friends from here, gone on some fantastic trips from here, and always enjoy reading interesting posts and watching great videos.

 

This website, which I visit everyday in my daily routine, is responsible for a lot of good times and new friends and places visited overseas which otherwise would have never happened.

 

I thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

 

I will never take for granted this special place and the effect it has had in my life.

 

Robb and Elissa, Thanks, and I love you.

I first looked at this site as a outsider about a year ago. Since then, I love it. When I am at my f/t job I am literally on 2-8 times an hour just checking new posts. Plus I have nothing else to do.

You know, it's hard not to go somewhere day to day, and not be reminded of a joke or somebody's like/interest/whatever on TPR. Stuffed hippos, penguins, they seem to follow me now. It brings a smile and I think of folks here whom I've never met in person. Curious.

I have yet to attend a TPR meet or go on a group trip. The past couple years have been a little crazy.

 

I must say that I really do enjoy reading the boards here as well as all the trip reports. You really learn a lot about travel as well the amusement/ride industry.

 

I'm thankful to Robb and Elissa for dedicating so much of their time to this great activity!

I know what you mean, Mike. I'd been in a few other park-related forums, but none of them seemed to be the right "fit," until I landed here.

Even if they don't love me, I love them! Two things keep me alive: Music and Coasters. Whenever I am bored, have nothing to do, or just am online...I can be found here. There is so much information, as for a coaster/park info, pictures, videos; heck...this place has everything! This place is awesome, I've had some up and downs; but I think I have settled out here. I'm always online, and they offer so many things to do. I hope to get on a group trip some day!

I might still be posting on RRC, or even Danimation if it were still alive

I probably would have never hit 50 credits, or even 25

I might be riding down the stairs in a box with Vekoma written on it

I would have considered joining ACE (do they have an "under 200 pound" division?)

I haven't been here for very long, but I love this site and I deeply thank Robb and Elissa from the bottom of my heart. I have basically become addicted to this site and I can't help but be on it every time I can. I really needed a forum like this where I could actually talk about my love of coasters as nobody in my school or family really care about coasters. Thank you so much.

I've been coming to this site since at least 1999, and it has always been one of my favorites. R&E both do a great job here. Even before these forums I used to join in on the AIM coaster chats with them, and I've always enjoyed their opinions.
