I'm curious as to what Elissa has "Promised" Robb once he reaches his goal? Surely he must have some additional incentive to drop those 30 pounds.

I use to own a health food store, so I saw countless people who wanted to lose weight, and I have to say that your progress to date is fantastic. To lose 20 pounds in only twenty days is a great achievement.

Nope...nothing.

I was hoping I'd get some kind of offers from the TPR members!

Day 21 -

Well, crap. I'm up a pound. So that makes yesterday milestone of losing 20 pounds pretty much bullshit.

*sigh*

This is where this keeps getting harder and harder. I only have 9 days left to lose 11 pounds. The probability of me making that is looking pretty doubtful.

Today's weigh in - 245 pounds

Total weight loss - 19 pounds in 21 days.

This sucks.

Robb, remember, the over all goal here was self improvement and challenging yourself. Win, lose, no matter. You're proving a point and making an effort to improve yourself and you are better off than when you started. You also inspired others to improve themselves.

You have taken a chance, led instead of followed, and effected positive change (AGAIN) in this world with your actions. You've grown as a human being. Is this really something be sad about?

Just keep Believing!

As i said earlier, I need to gain 30 pounds! Well today I volunteered for 10 hours at a Police Christmas Party, They Let us eat as much as we wanted. I Had something like 9 Hot Dogs, 17 Ice Creams, 3 Tim Bits, 2 Coffee's, and a A Few Creams (But All By themselves). I Gained 3 Pounds! I now weigh 108. But It is only temporary, I do not gain weight. I seem to only grow upwards not outwards...

Question: Will you stay on this after the 30 days if you do lose 30 pounds?

Yes, but not right away.

Basically, part of the reason why I wanted to do this is that we leave for Florida in about 10 days. We'll be on a cruise for 7 days and then in Florida for another week and a half with Elissa's parents.

I know even if I eat "lightly" I'll put on weight, so I wanted to drop some before the trip.

So getting back to the weight loss thing will have to wait until after the trip.

ROBB! Don't you dare give up on me! Don't be so pessimistic, you have achieved so much so far, you can and WILL achieve your goal! By the power invested in the TPR members we will make sure you make your goal.

See after the 30 days will there be before and after shots? What about next year TPR calender?

Robb:

When do you exercise? I hear doing it in the morning will burn more calories. Also I think your metabolism is slowing down and getting used to the little bit of food you've been giving it.

You may have to throw an extra granola bar or snack in to get your metabolism going again... and possibly adding another quick workout session in too.

But don't give up hope, just keep working towards losing the weight and you'll get there! Eat little more, get your heartrate up and your metabolism will kick back in and start burning the fat.

Day 22 -

Better day today! Down another .5 pounds!

I did eat a *little* more today. Two power bars. Some pudding. A Vault ICEE and a two hour workout!

At least it resulted in some progress!

Todays weigh in - 243.5

Total weight lost: 20.5 pounds in 22 days.

All thumbs up for Robb ! Day 22 for you, is incidentally day 22 for me too. Not for my weight but I'm trying to stop smoking erm... funny cigarettes (not the "normal" cigarettes, which I stopped more than 2 years ago). Maybe this is not forever, but just like you, I'm trying to have a break with what I consider to be a problem for me. I promise not to smoke on East Coast 2008, except if you all force me to !

We ended up driving to MA for 10 days, so I haven't been keeping up, here.

I'm very happy to see you're on track! Great job!

My baby weight is coming off slowly, but I'm depressed about going back to work in two weeks, so I'm not eating as well as I could be.

Day 23 -

Sorry I guys I totally forgot to post a pic yesterday! So even though I'm a day behind, let's just call it Day 23 anyway!

Ate very lightly the last two days, and while I didn't actually get to work out (I know, I know, that's really bad!) I did get to play some DDR both days, which DOES help, and I did at least a 2 hour walk each day.

Now, I'm not really one who thinks a "walk" is a good work out, but it's at least better than sitting at my desk sitting on my fat ass for two hours.

The payoff has been "ok", I'm down another pound. Not great, but not bad by any means!

This IS getting tougher!!!

Today's weigh in - 242.5

Total weight loss - 21.5 pounds in 23 days
