Bucket Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Sicko... The new documentary by Michael Moore. Wonderful film, but I have to say... I am so thankful I live in Germany and I am not insured by an American Health company!
Groteslurf Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Reno 911! : Miami I didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be a quite entertaining movie. Even very funny at some moments. It gets a 7.5/10
Top Thrill Dragster Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Ali G Indahouse 9/10 This movie was hilarious and way better than Borat.
Groteslurf Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Flood Entertaining disaster movie. No state-of-the-art special effects but a nice movie with an ok story. Only a pitty the ending was quite abrupt. 7.5/10
cycamps Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Rock Em' Dead This is an independent film that is a comedy/horror. It's only 28 minutes long, but it's pretty good overall. You can watch the whole thing here: http://www.moore-entertainment.com/Rock%20%27Em%20Dead%20(Preview).htm
PKI Jizzman Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Was at the local library trying to find a decant film for a friday night....and I happened to stumble across Red Dawn. I kinda laughed to myself because I've heard "RED DAWN AWESOME!" And just thought it was some funny line.... OMG! That movie was sick! Go watch it now! Definitely one of the best movies...of not THE best! Wolverines!!!
Groteslurf Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Ratatouille : 8.5/10 Great Disney movie. American Gangster : 9/10 The first 30 minutes made me almost want to stop watching the movie but I'm glad I kept watching. Cool acting, awesome story. I felt the ending could have been better, but overall a well deserved 9/10
masterofthematrix91 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I Am Legend very good and very dramatic. while this movie was good I felt like it was missing something...The action sequences were good and intense and so was the suspense. This movie is not for kids under 10 so it is gritty at some points. in the end it is not legend 6.5/10
alpengeist04 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 ^I agree with your review, though I would give it a little better grade. 8.5/10
Adriel Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Alvin and the Chipmunks 5/10 The first half of the movie is very good, very funny and quite original. Even the people in my cinema keep cheering for the chipmunks every time they sing. But after that, it's not really good, unfunny and quite boring.
Groteslurf Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Bee Movie : 8/10 Bee Movie the ride sponsored by Honex, where will it be built ?
the sound Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Into the wild : 9/10. Overall, a very interesting movie, with some brilliant acting. Although i am not fully aware of the whole Alexander Supertramp story, i think that the director did well to keep the movie how it really was done, and how it was set out in the book. I would especially like to commend Hal Holbrook for his short, yet touching role in the film. There was some very good cinematography in the film as well, there were some brilliant shots of animals and nature. My only real criticism is that it took a little while to get started and that it went a little bit too long.
downunder Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Finall saw Idiocracy albeit I watched it 10 minutes hits on you tube, not as good as I thought it would be but fun, fairly understated like Office Space.
crazyrider06 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I Am Legend.. overall rating 9/10. it was a really good movie, had a few sad parts where I just wanted to cry lol definitely worth seeing.
Groteslurf Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Good luck Chuck : 7/10. I'm often disappointed after having watched this kind of romantic comedy movies. Good luck Chuck was an exception. Some very funny situation, an ok story and Jessica Alba
Team Thriller Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 This Christmas 5/10 WTF? This movie makes no sense what-so-ever! Don't waste your money on it. It really wasn't even about Christmas. It just took place during it. --James
Adriel Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 The Warlords 7/10 If it's not because of how good the sets and the cinematography are I won't even rate it higher than a '6'. Of course 3 of the Asian big stars are all in the movie. I's quite astonishing to watch all of those people fighting in a such big war.
knottslover77 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Beowulf Imax 3-D 9/10. It was amazing! Every effect was right in your face on a 80 foot screen. --Jay
bigstevet07 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I am Legend I would say this movie is about a 7.5/10. Its pretty intense and does a good job of telling how he is still around after no one else is. My only beef with this film is that it ended way too fast. The ending seemed really rushed.
spaceace12 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 The Simpsons Movie. 9/10. I mean, it has spider pig, what else is there.
cfc Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I am Legend takes a great novel by Richard Matheson and turns it into a lame, CGI rehash of the 28 [fill in the blank] Later flicks. It's actually decent until right after the scene where Will Smith finds the zombie "hive," then gradually slides downhill--where it simply slams into a brick wall and stops.
alpengeist04 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 National Treasure-Book of Secrets I enjoyed the movie for what it is, a fun adventure film. I admit it will never win any Oscars and it does have some holes in the plot, but I'm not the kind of person that goes into a movie trying to pick it apart. I go to enjoy myself, and the movie for the most part delivers on that. 8.5/10
knottslover77 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 3 wise guys 7/10 Bad acting, yet kind of good. --Jay
downunder Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 I've been catching up on a few older (and newer) movies: Bender's Big Score - 7.5/10 Not bad, very satirical. Simpson's Movie - 7/10 good extension of the series but not mind blowing. Space Cowboys - 7.5/10 an oldie I've never seen before, enjoyed it.
DallasAlvey Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 National Treasure: Book of Secrets - Such a fun film! I really enjoyed the first film but I liked this one even more. The action was amped up a bit and the characters were more entertaining. The plot was fun to follow as was all the dialogue and action. I agree this was a lot better than the first one. A reason for that is they go more historical places than the first one. National Treasure Books of Secrets 10/10.
