DaylightDies Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 The Thin Red Line - 9/10 excellent war movie. 300- Overhyped, but still good 8/10.
Groteslurf Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Watched Ocean's 13 yesterday evening. 7/10 : It's a nice movie with a fine story but you have to stay very focussed otherwise you're lost in the story line.
J man Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I saw 3:10 to Yuma today. It was without question the best film I've seen at the theater this year. 10/10!!!
Gnome Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 There's a complete reverse Silver Bullet POV on the Knocked Up bonus DVD. It's so wierd, I like it.
odene497 Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Disturbia- 9.5/10 It was really awesome. I like the characters and the acting, and the suspense in insane! I just feel like it's missing something. It's like there's no interaction with the outside world, just the same 10 people. Besides that, it's excellent.
Groteslurf Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Watched the Bourne Ultimatum yesterday. I really like the move : very good story, wicked action, very cool acting, excellent filming. Can't wait for number 4. Rating : 9/10
odene497 Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 The Kingdom- 7/10 Pretty good I guess, it was just kind of confusing. Some good action and explosions and stuff like that.
downunder Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Planet Terror, unrated extended version, more of a good thing.
Groteslurf Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Die Hard 4.0 8/10 : relaxing movie. I mean nice, easy story, very nice action, great filming and some funny quotes.
Hattuchili Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 ^ Saw it here a few days ago. I liked it, but I think the first few are still my favourites of "Die Hard" movies.
Goliath513 Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Bulworth. Watched the first part of it in my government class today. This movie is great!
odene497 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Brokeback Mountain: 9/10 I've always wanted to see this movie but never really had the chance, but today since I'm staying at my uncle's by myself for a few days, and he has a cable box, I noticed it was on and was finally able to watch it! It was SO sad at the end. I just really loved the movie. It was just so good and sad at the same time. It's like I don't know if I want to watch it again or have never seen it, it's just given me this kind of annoying feeling, like it was so good but sad and dramatic at the same time.
downunder Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Resident Evil Extinction, very short, very derivative (especially Road Warrior and Day of the Dead), not very good. Milla Jovovich looked hot as usual though.
Teonanacatl Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Sicko Really impressive movie done in the unique Michael Moore style. I dont think words do it justice and i recommend everyone to see this film.
natatomic Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Across the Universe 5/10 While it works as eye candy, if you strip it of its visual frills and music, the story is horridly predictable and lacking in creativity. And yes, the music is great, but there are too many spots where it seems like they added a scene just for the sake of adding a song. Maybe it would have worked if the length were cut down a bit. Or if I were high.
spaceace12 Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Jeff Dunham, Arguing with Myself 8/10 I rented it tonight so I could watch it since everyone said it was good. Walter is funny. Jeff Dunham, Spark of Insanity 9.5/10 "Silence..............I keel you" The new DVD by JEff, great stuff including making of a new dummy.
Gnome Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Just bought Transformers on DVD. (Actually 2 copies.. haha) but yea, I want to get Planet Terror as well once I have more monies to spend.

Groteslurf Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Saw Cinderella Story yesterday on the telly. To be honest, I hadn't heard anything about this movie before but thought I would give it a try. Well, I watched it till the end and liked the movie. It's a typical feel good movie of which you know what will be the plot after 15 minutes or something. Still it was nice to watch. Rating : 7/10
JuanSe_Colombia Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Disturbia (Paranoia in spanish) 9/10 Pretty good movie you are like in tension de whole time when tehy star spy on the murderer. I so impact when his dad die like in that ridicolous form.
America Sings Freak Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Song of the South 10/10 This is a most have for big Disney geeks, even though they do not sell it here in US at one time they did have it available online! I love this movie and the characters are some of the best the Disney company has ever created. This used some of the best special effects from the mid-1940s and is a movie I try to watch on a every few week schedule.
exit english Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Planet Terror came out on Tuesday, and I was there at midnight (stopped on my way home from work) to pick it up. That completes the Grindhouse set, of course, until the "double feature" box set version comes out... Next on the list: Vanishing Point. -Josh
odene497 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 30 Days of Night:9.5/10 Seriously so cool. The feeling of the movie is awesome. It takes place in the northernmost city, Barring, Alaska. For 30 days the city goes without sun, and the city is closed off. Awesome circumstances for a vampire movie. Very well written and very realistic effects.
alpengeist04 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 ^Yea, I think I'll go and see 30 Days of Night on my next day off. ...and of course next week is Saw IV.
