IwantRevenge Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 ^ I don't think it's supposed to be a kiddy coaster XD they have 2(3) it's time for the grown ups to have 2(1) of their own. If anyone considers Airbender a kiddy coaster use the numbers in the (#)
TheRealTinkerbell Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 ^ I don't think it's supposed to be a kiddy coaster I like small boys in tights Uh oh...did you type the secret code thingy? Or do you really just like small boys in tights? Jk It's so funny to see this update today because I was talking about the Spongebob Coaster yesterday with Antonio. I hadn't even heard about this project until yesterday. I'm the slow one here. It's coming along really well, and it looks so awesome! Thanks a bunch for the pics!
jarmor Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 So does this ride win the award for "Most unkiddie friendly kiddie coaster"? I've never seen a coaster with a childrens theme that had LOOPS and a PLUNGE in it! O_O hulk...I wouldn't say childrens theme but it is a franchise that is powered by kids! So yeah...hulk
jarmor Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 lol lol just checking because you know how some people can be sooo pratical when it comes to coaster!
Vffreak07 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I really want a Krusty Krab though! Those Crabby Patties look so amazing. * I actually did watch one whole episode today *
jpekari Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 That sponge bob coaster looks like something I made on No Limits a while bnack, and it looks like a fun little compact coaster. Shuld expect some serious g forces on that.
Broadwayboy2007 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 and the rock bottom plunge theme is perfect cause to get there they ride a cliff straight down. EXACTLY what I was thinking.
cycamps Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I've never been to MOA before. Now I'll have some motivation.
Jerways Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I really want a Krusty Krab though! Those Crabby Patties look so amazing. * I actually did watch one whole episode today * So did I, for the first time in my entire life. I have to admit, I found it to be strangely fun. I look fwd to riding this coaster.
Tanks4me05 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Holy crap. It's amazing at how much they can fit into such a small place... 5 coasters and a nice amount of other rides inside this tiny place. It's just unbelievable.
christianscoasters Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 The station should be like the red bus in the show! Or Spongebob's pineapple, or The Krusty Krab
FLIPDUDE Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 90 degree lift hill... more than vertical drop... vertical loop, followed b an overbank tightly squeezed between a ride and a support with headchopping proximity, followed by a twisted inline twist and a collection of crazy turns and airtime pops... Dare you ride... SPONGEBOB! Am I the only one that sees the absurd here? o.O

RIP Psyclone Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 The only thing that's absurd will be hearing overprotective mothers telling their kids "No, you are not riding Spongebob!" Personally, I think theming a not-so-kiddie coaster after a Nickelodeon cartoon (with some adult appeal) was the greatest idea ever!
sfmmrules! Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I haven't been to MOA since 1999. I hope to go again soon to ride the new coaster. Looks cool. What is a half pipe ride?
Sticky Nicky Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Looks like they are working tonight. More Painting The Crane was in place 10 minutes ago.
Sticky Nicky Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Ripsaw is being takin apart again. Maybe it will be back open tomorrow. EDIT: Track going back up. EDIT
USCoaster Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Now I have another reason I need to go to MOA. Seeing the pics of their Tampico Tumbler ride and their Rotoshake makes me hate Knotts a little bit. I need to go before they decide to remove those rides.
knottslover77 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I liked the foresty theme the park had when it was Knotts Camp Snoopy a lot better. --Jay
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Great report and awesome pictures as well. I really cant wait to get out there.
Golfie Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Cool! Looks like we're going to get some vertical consruction on Splat-o-Sphere tonight.
TheRapidsNerd Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Tower parts are staged. Looks like it's going up tonight (monday). Pic below.
kraken613 Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Im sure that will be up tomarrow night! Then all the rides will be done right?
