Skyscraper
Wow the signs looks even greater than I thought they would ! SFDK is becoming the most beautiful Six Flags park! I wouldn't be surprise if next year this park is gonna have year-round operations.
niiicolaaah
I am not familiar with what the park used to like, but judging from these pics it's looking pretty good now! Go Six Flags! (WOW, I never thought I'd say that!)
Homer
Wow, Shapiro is really paying attention to detail here. Its still not Disney, by any means, but this is pushing the envelope for the Six Flags we know when it comes to theming. I can't wait to see more opening weekend photos! It looks like the park may go off to have a better future under Shapiro!
cprocks22
Nice TR, wow the park actually looks...really nice. I'm glad to see Six Flags trying to turn things around. Kevin"Cold Stone > Any other ice cream"M.

firstbase11897
I really like the signage. The animals remind me of the Gwazi sign at BGA. Very colorful.
coasterCrAzY505
I would love to see signs like that at all of their parks. It makes it all look much more inviting and friendly. I definately think this was the bast thing they could have done for this park.
Loco
Those new V2 colors looks so ugly right behind that new entrance sign...I personally liked the old SFMW better
CoasterExpert13
Awesome pictures! The park is looking extremely well done....now if only Medusa would recieve a new coat of paint....
RollerC
Wow it looks great! SKMW/SFDK was always one of the better SF park and its nice to see how its changing.
Gnome
I dunno, I'm digging the improvements. I can't wait to see what the company will bring to SFDK over the next couple of years.
laqueefa
I wouldn't be surprised if next year this park is gonna have year-round operations. i dont know how that would work out with the Animals and the weather conditions, but im hopeful! speedracer
^^ shouldn't be an issue, MWAUSA had always been open year round prior to Premier/SF. Of course that was one of the reasons they almost went bankrupt, but hopefully now that they'll have the attendance, they can bring back year round operation without breaking the bank. Excellent pics Sean, park looks fantastic!

IwantRevenge
Looks cool, I saw the dolphins and began to sing "so long and thansk for all the fish" V2 looks like fun, does the front spike go upside down?
Sexy No Jutsu
V2 looks like fun, does the front spike go upside down? I thought that part was the back spike. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm liking the updates. I'm going to definitely drive up there some time and check it out.
doom1001
I made my first visit to this park in Oct.2006,on it's last days known as SFMW.I thought the park overall was allright but definitely needed some sprucing up.It looks like they made some nice changes!!! ginzo
I still don't understand why they completely changed the name. Hasn't this park always been known as Marine World? I dunno. I just don't see the point of changing a 20 year old name. Did the name "Marine World" have a bad rep, or something?
jarmor
I can see changing the name...it gives the park a new lease on life so to speak. The park is now a totally different place and it would only be fitting to change the name to reflect all the changes that has gone on inside the park! mudvayneimn
V2 looks like fun, does the front spike go upside down? I thought that part was the back spike. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm liking the updates. I'm going to definitely drive up there some time and check it out. It's the front spike and the twist is at a 45 degree angle or something. I really like V2's colors and all of the improvements/signs. I hope this sets a standard for the chain and all of the SF parks get a little more customized and unique like this one.
