Calvin
Or maybe it's a 600 FOOT TALL ROLLER COASTER WITH 60 LOOPS!!! Or it's just an electrical shed.
absolutace
Is there such thing as like an upside down loop? Like, the train is on top of the track, then it goes down and upside down, then comes back up ? that would be like the opposite of centrifugal force.. it would litierally throw the people out of their seats.. like going around a curve fast that is banked the wrong way

TPDave
It would be the most painful element in the world, you would be thrown foward and then pushed into your restraint (Intamin would probably be the only company willing to make this element and thier restrains would dig into your shoulders.) and then you would go slowly under the loop (again hurting your shoulders) and coue out the other side with nothing in you pockets. Worm
think about how painful the airtime will be!
deguy123
I have wondered that too but I think it would be painful no matter what. This coaster seems like its going to be the longest coaster but who knows. I can't wait until they offically tell us what it really is.

absolutace
i think its going to be a dueling coaster - it seems like a lot of the footers are placed in ways that there will be tracks side by side or close to.. even those supports like V's

Kind of odd... but different if it was a dueling steel coaster and all the track was the same color. I'm holding out all my guesses as I have about 8 concepts/style/mechanics of... that I could possibly narrow this coaster down to. It looks to be one cool ride regardless of what type of coaster it ends up being.
CP_RULES
Is a Kroger the same as a Gerbes or Dillons? We dont have them here in Missouri but we do have Gerbes and Dillons stores that Kroger brand is the "cheap" brand they sell. Kind of like Wal*Mart and their "Great Value/ Equate" brands. Anyways, about the new pics. Im really not into any more speculation but it really does seem that the coaster will be like Rita as in the fact that is stays close to the ground. Also, I dont know if its been said but its nice to see some new track type in there: ALSO, isnt this track for the lift? ^If it is, then looks like that pretty much throws away the launch theory, unless it has a lift and a launch.....? coasterfreak11
^ That track can be for the brake run, transfer track, or station.
TheGreatOne
The newest batch of TPR photos convinces me this is an AquaTrax. Look at some of the supports and variations of the track. Then go compare them to Atlantis Adventure at Lotte World: http://www.rcdb.com/ig1646.htm Everything seems to match up, even the different supports, such as the low-to the ground ones with square connectors: http://www.rcdb.com/ig1646.htm?picture=21. I still don't see why people are convinced it will be a launch coaster since CP and Intamin's last two have had so many issues. -Bryan "an AquaTrax would motivate me to go there next year" Wood
TheArchfiend
^ I think we may have a winner with that analysis. The proof is in the Korean pudding. Mmm.... Korean pudding.

Im having trouble following you, I dont see supports with square connectors anywhere in those pictures! Maybe you could show me a pic that has them, but I just cant find them in the "newest batch of TPR photos". -Justin PS- I like your avatar TheGreatOne, that was a good movie! Uhh... the Aquatrax in your post is a launch coaster . I would also expect a new aquatrax at Cedar Point (IF thats what it is) to be a launched aquatrax as well. HCOSurfer90
If you look in this pic: http://www.rcdb.com/ig1646.htm?picture=6 On one of the supports, there's more than 1 support (kinda like the V-shaped ones at the construction site.
Calvin
For the first time in my life I'm actually really anxious to find out what a new coaster will be like. Curse you, Cedar Fair and your withholding information!

I'm sold... the defense rests. The jury has ruled that this new coaster will be an AquaTrax. Probably I'll go out on a limb and draw that conclusion even if the announcement hasn't been made yet. Now, it's how fast this puppy would launch that makes me wonder even more
