The supports can be cut at the level that RMC needs them. There is so much to work with there. Texas Giant and Mean Streak have/had basically the same large, roughly triangle layout. It would just be a matter of RMC cutting down huge parts. (Funny how we're talking about this like it's already happening!)

^ Don't forget that he'll probably also mention that Wicked Twister was gonna connect the 2 towers at the top to make one consecutive coaster track.

Just got off the lake erie eagles. It was great fun, but I can tell you now that the line for this ride is going to be massive. The seat belts are the child belts that need a key to be released, and it takes forever for the ride to stop.

Heading over to pipe scream now.

^ Thank you for that report. I hate when manufactures use restraints like that. That is why I avoid Crazy Dances at parks/carnivals when it has a long line.

I get the child belts in a place like Camp Snoopy, Planet Snoopy, or Kiddie Kingdom, but when Lake Erie Eagles ride requires children 36-44" to ride with a responsible person ages 16 or older, this becomes in my eyes excessive. The job of a responsible person is to make sure the younger and smaller riders don't do things such as opening a seatbelt when the ride is in motion. There are also things such as presence switches, ride stop, emergency stop, etc. that can slow a ride to a stop in the event a rider does unbuckle a seatbelt (which is pretty rare). Silly things like this drive an operations-minded person like me nuts.

If its anything like MI ADV, its going to take forever just like you'd said. Pain in the rear. But I mean, I guess its for the best?

How does the monster look in person?

Just got off of pipe scream, and LOVED IT!

It also looks like they have a new entrance for Gemini. They are also opening up millennium force and Blue streak.

Monster looks great with the new paint! The lighting package on it too is gonna look great at night.

That looks awesome. The paint looks super cool and the lighting is gonna look really bada$$ at night. I got to get out to Sandusky soon!

Media Day report-

When we (my friend and I) got there, Pipe Scream was broken. Eagles had a rather long line, so we went back to Camp Snoopy to look for the new Wilderness Run entrance. We never found it, but the ride ops at Peanuts 500 opened up. After we got off this little kiddy ride, only to see that Woodstock Express had opened. So we credit whored that. We also used the Coke freestyle and frozen yogurt machines. We also looked at Slingshot's construction site, where the base pieces are already in place. Eventually, we got one ride on Pipe Scream. After the keynote, we went to Chickie's and Pete's. Blue Streak and MF were open. Let me tell you, Blue Streak seemed butter-smooth. I compared it to El Toro's smoothness. It wasn't actually quite that smooth, but still very nice. Unfortunately, it needs to warm up a bit - it had little airtime. MF was just normal old MF, except for an annoying squealing sound that was most prevalent in the last overbank. CP did a great job with this media day.
