1. Nemesis, so much power and action

2. Déjà Vu, very forceful, awesome drops

3. Tornado, Särkänniemi, best inversion ever, forceful, a little bumpy (in a good way)

4. Top Gun, PGA, extremely forceful, more than Nemesis actually

5. Invertigo, backwards and forwards;)

6. BTR, SFMM, forceful

7. V2, SFMW, awesome inversion

8. Nemesis Inferno, too tame and not very exciting

9. Kong, a little too bumpy

Umm yeah, list:

1. The ORIGIONAL B:TR at SFGAM - Its so intence it has to be good, the clones are the same yes, but this was the very first.

2. Montu BGT - Yeah its still an awsome ride, but it was soooo much better before they trimmed it to death.

3. Dueling Dragons Fire - Its a fire themed roller coaster, nuff said.

4. Dueling Dragons Ice - While not nearly as awsome as fire, being frozen to death sounds just as horriffic!

5. Raptor - Umm yeah, its weak and forceless, pretty boring IMO.

6. The rest are like 4 BTR clones, so yeah those fall down here...

Thats it.....woooo.

Huh, I don't think I've ever heard someone call Raptor, of all B&M's forceless. Interesting. And if you say the clones of BTR at the same as the original, why do you rank them so much lower?

Anyhow...

1. Raptor

2. Batman

3. Alpengeist

4. Volcano - KD

last. The God-awful SLC at SFA

For me, it's Nemesis at Alton Towers, followed by Montu at Busch Gardens Tampa.

Posted

1. GIB's

2. Wicked Twister

3. BTR (SFGAM) its smoother feels faster and is a much netter ride than any of the other clones The SFGAM has just a little extra something.

4. Raptor

5. Rest of BTR clones

1. Flight Deck @ CGA. Quality old school B&M, now in smexy red. You can get great off-ride shots from Levi's Stadium(I saw it running during game against Redskins on November 20).

2. Aftershock @ Silverwood. I was astounded by the likable nature of this ride, and almost made me forgive Vekoma for Kong. Almost.

3. Batman @ SFMM. It's a Batman clone. What else do I say? Fun and forceful.

4. Raptor @ Cedar Point. I think it's interesting how this ride seems to stand in my memory the least out of all the coasters at CP that I rode. A delectable B&M that's a real good time.

5. Vertical Velocity @ SFDK. This unique Intamin, unlike other twisted impulses, provides legitimate inversions with stupendous hangtime.

5. Wicked Twister @ Cedar Point. Nice Intamin fun is to be had on this coaster. Also the first time I've interacted with another coaster enthusiast in a queue(I remember being behind a guy with a Wild Eagle shirt in the queue for the Arrow flume at SCBB back in 2012. I could've sworn it was Robb.)

6. Kong @ SFDK. Um. Deep hurting. That is all.

Top 5:

1. Great Bear - I didn't see the double dip of the first drop coming at all when I rode it for the first time late at night. The environment, the elongated swooping layout, really the best sense of just purely gliding out of any invert I've ridden.

2. Alpengeist - The tall drop and theming (I love Skiing!)

3. Talon - Great turns!

4. Raptor - love every part except that last turn into the brakes. A little too snappy and a bad ending to a great ride

5. Batman: The Ride - A classic in every way. The smallest in height but probably offers the most intensity.

Keep in mind I have not been on Montu or Nemesis yet, as those seem likely to change up my list.

I'll count flying coasters too, I suppose.

1) Fire Dragon (AMAZING!!)

2) Montu (Kinda slow pacing during second half... rode it 8 times on two visits to make sure it wasn't a fluke )

3) Alpengeist (Great in front, rough in back)

4) Manta (Great layout!)

5) Tatsu (Amazing loop, good views! Wish it used terrain more)

6) Raptor (Good layout start to end)

7) Afterburn (Really good!)

8) Ice Dragon (Loses a lot of steam 2nd half... why is Fire so much better??)

9) Volcano (Great launches)

10) Flight Deck (Great for its size!)

11) Silver Bullet (the first drop sucks... pretty good after that)

12) Great Bear (Weird, short, good for what it is)

13) Batman the Ride (out of the three I've ridden, pretty good!)

14) The rest... (inverted boomerangs, imulse coasters, SLCs, SFCs, Vekoma Flyers)

I'm still hoping to ride Nemesis, Katun, Pyrenees, Banshee, Black Mamba, Talon, Sky Scrapper!

Here's my top ten, including all manufacturers:

1. Banshee (Kings Island)

2. Afterburn (Carowinds)

3. Alpengeist (Busch Gardens Williamsburg)

4. Raptor (Cedar Point)

5. Volcano, The Blast Coaster (Kings Dominion)

6. Talon (Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom)

7. Deja Vu (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

8. Flight Deck (California's Great America)

9. Wicked Twister (Cedar Point)

10. Vertical Velocity (Six Flags Great America)

Wow, I guess Cedar Fair dominates the inverted coaster market (at least in North America).

1. Afterburn (Carowinds)

2. Banshee (Kings Island)

3. Alpengeist (BGW) - this was my favorite for a long time. I still think that long, swooping first drop is the best drop on an invert

4. Talon (Dorney Park)

5. Raptor (Cedar Point)

Raptor

Thunderhawk

BTR

Talon

Wicked Twister

Volcano the blast coaster

Patriot

This year gonna ride after burn and banshee which should change my list a little!

Now that I think about it, Six Flags only has the Batman clones, right? Not including crappy SLC's and flying coasters that is. So it makes sense that Cedar Fair, which offers more variety, would beat the competition.

Heres the list of the 5 Ive been on:

1. Batman la Fuga

2. Katun

3. Nemesis Inferno

4. Tizona

5. Blue Tornado

Wow my list needs some serious updating! And how the hell was Katun number 2 on that list?? Must have been the fact that Batman la Fuga was my first major steel coaster, and due to that it blew me away.

After a little bit of thinking I think it looks something like this. Its difficult since I havent been on half of these coasters in 8-12 years...

1. Katun

2. Montu

3. Dragon Challenge - Chinese Fireball

4. Dragon Challenge - Hungarian Horntail

5. Batman la Fuga/Batman the Ride SFGADV

6. Tornado - Särkänniemi

7. Great Bear

8. Stunt Fall

9. Nemesis Inferno

10. Tizona/Blue Tornado/Mind Eraser - SFNE
