How does Riddler's Revenge hurt your legs and crotch? Can you not get the right balance?

I was just backing up Scream, i'll take it over any of those rides any day. For some reason my left calf really starts hurting on RR don't know why, also standing up on a ride seems like a chore/gimmick.

Riddler's Revenge is a hit or miss with people. Especially GP, when I go with friends they always complain bout the pain. I can ride it all day just fine.

Now Scream is a different story. I can't ride Scream more than once. That last half of the ride is too rough, at least to me. Especially the Corkscrews.

I have always found Riddler's Revenge to be very smooth and not painful at all. I can re-ride it multiple times with no problem too. Scream is a bit rough to me but not enough to really be an issue. I have rode it 4-6 times without exiting the train many times and have not had a problem. In my opinion the only coaster there which is too painful to re-ride multiple times in a row is Revolution, due to the headbanging. I never go on it more than twice in a row anymore. I have not had a problem on any of the other coasters which are currently there. I even went on X2 ten times in one hour on Season Pass Appreciation Day last September and had no problems.

The same can be said about Scream! being floorless. All steel coasters rely on some sort of gimmick, be it the type of train used or the type of inversion.

^^ I guess I'm doing pretty well. I have relatives younger than me that wear out and have to take breaks every so often too. I never do that. My dad is 65 and still rides every coaster at SFMM but he doesn't do as many re-rides anymore and doesn't go to the park nearly as often as he used to. He has fun telling people how old he is if they ask and has had people tell him they hope they can still do this at his age. I hope I can too. Before you tell me I inherited good genes from him I should mention that I'm adopted.

I'm at the park right now, again, because my spring break is over . Its Physics Day, so X2 has been a no go so far. Its line is now almost all the way to the entrance of Viper. Viper's line is also pretty long. Tatsu's is also right now, but it was nearly completely empty this morning, so I'm really glad I made a B-line straight for it when I got in at around 10:30-11:00

Rides so far:

Tatsu: 1x

Terminator: 1x

Superman: 1x

Jet Stream: 1x

Ninja and Roaring Rapids are still closed. Saw some pipes hanging from a piece of the track (of Ninja) as I made my way from Terminator to here (Cyber Cafe). SO It looks liek it'll be a while until Ninja opens.

Superman had literally no line, which surprised me as I've never seen it so empty.

And, although I have no pics, I'm happy to say this:

Some track and support pieces have FINALLY arrived for Mr.Six's DanceCoaster They are sitting right where Terminator's track sat before vertical construction.

So somebody get out here and take a few pics.

Hey, I'm new to this board, but I'm headed to SFMM on Wednesday. I just wanted to know if you guys think that its gonna be packed.

Since about 90% of the Inland Empire is on break I'd say yes. Although you are lucking out the L.A. Unified District gets out next week I believe.

^^ Physics Day is an event at certain parks where students participate in various competitions some of which involve the parks rides and some which don't. In my experience visiting on one of these days by accident one time and reading newspaper articles about how many people participate they are usually very crowded.

I'm going to the park next week too. Like cooksta77 said are large part of the Inland Empire is off next week so crowds may be increased because of that. Most of LA and Orange County is not off until either one of the next two weeks after that. The park closes at 6:00 on weekdays next week, 9:00 the following week and 8:00 the week after that which seems to indicate that they expect lighter crowds next week than during the two following weeks which seem to be the main part of Spring Break. Knott's closes at 6:00 on weekdays next week and 10:00 the next two weeks after that so they are expecting the same thing. In the last few years I have found very light crowds at the park if LA and Orange County are both in school even if other areas are off, so I am hoping for the best.

Ninja's getting a new control system. That's great news for anyone fond of the ride, as it isn't going anywhere soon. There's no expiration date a la Big Bad Wolf. Thank-you Six Flags Magic Mountain head honchos for sharing this news during the West Coast Bash Q&A session.

What else? There was talk about some new marketable capital coming to the Hurricane Harbor kids' section, but they didn't give up the goods. Wait another week or so.

Also, Metro is never coming back. As in NEVER. Blame California's current seismic codes (or not, building codes are a good thing in quake prone SoCal).

Superman will be back on his perch soon, that's if management decides on what to do with the tower. They were extremely reticent about plans to plus it up, but did let slip that a paint job is in the foreseeable future.

A couple of WCB pics:

The X2 version of a flat tire, or what happens about 20 times less often with the lighter X2 trains according to our friendly tour guide

WCB 2010 rocked! Huge thanks to TPR and Rideworld for an event that gets better and better. And to the park too, Magic Mountain rolls out the red carpet for WCB. They go above and beyond, first class... actually, they treat us like family. Thanks so much!

I rode Scream 17 times straight in 2008 and didn't have any problems. I don't even remember it feeling rough.

Superman will most likely be getting a paint job.

Tim didn't pick the Loony Toons Super Store colors.

Ninja is staying in the park and the problem that BGE had with Big Bad Wolf has been solved for Ninja. (they didn't elaborate on what the Issue may have been with BBW)

Single Rider lines are being planned.

Revolution, Scream, and Colossus are next in line to get a paint job.

Superman runs at around 85-88mph.

Flat Rides are in the future plans for the park
