ebl
In case anyone is wondering about the Funatics rewards, I just got a Skip to the Front of the Line pass in my e-mail today. All I have to do is print it and bring it to the park. It's good till May 12, 2010. Eric EDIT: Just tried to print the voucher, and I got a window saying that apparently adding the voucher to the "cart" and printing it isn't available yet. Interesting...I'll try again later. austinlee
^^ Agreed completely. My pass has already paid for itself this year. ^ Thanks for the info. Does it say anything about which rides you can use it on? Or more specifically is it valid on X2? Last time I was at the park they had a sign up which said Funatics rewards were only valid for visits from 5/15-9/7. It's nice to know it has started early but, since it expires in May, that destroys my plan to use the skip the line pass during Summer Break since I am going to the park in about two weeks. On the plus side, the early start pretty much guarantees that I will be able to get all five rewards.
ebl
^ Since I was able (finally!) to print my voucher, I'll fill you in. I should have cut and pasted this instead of typing it, but the second bullet in the instructions on the voucher says: "Present this voucher now through 5/12/2010 to receive your official Skip the Line pass good for you and 1 guest on the ride of your choice." That's it---word for word. Unless I'm missing something, "ride of your choice" with no apparent exceptions would certainly imply any ride in the park. I hope you don't get there and find some "fine print" when you turn in the voucher. Eric
TPDave
Has X2 EVER been a walk on? I've never seen it without a decent sized line or longer. Every event TPR has done at SFMM

ebl
^ DAMN!!! There goes that idea... My sister lived up north and moved back down some time back, but hasn't been to SFMM in years and would probably like to ride X2 at some point. The pass would be a good way to avoid what could be a rather lengthy wait. Eric
MagicMountainMan
At the WCB they should have everybody who wants to ride Percy sign wavers of liability so then they can ride. Talk about credit whoring at it's best!
OldJJman
At the WCB they should have everybody who wants to ride Percy sign wavers of liability so then they can ride. NO. Everyone that wants to ride "Percy" should not attend WCB. Deal with it. JJ

Talk about credit whoring at it's best! It's more of a maintenance issue over a safety issue. As it will be less tear on the ride if you keep the weight you put on it low. Also if you do that for WCB and let all of you guys on it will go from Percy to the little engine that could. Haha
ebl
^ If too many "big kids" get on it, it'll be the little engine that couldn't. Eric

ebl
^ Just re-reading that post reminds me: the voucher says that the only location to redeem it is Guest Relations, so it looks like you should make that your first stop upon entering the park. And I'd imagine they would tell you whether to use the Fast Pass line or go in the exit or whatever. Eric

AWill961
Anyone going to the park on March 26? or the week of March 21? I wonder how the operations are going to be (aka one train for X2, etc). I'm hoping that this is the week just before spring break for most people. LA Unified gets out starting the week of March 28. Anyone know how spring break is looking for other school districts with considerable populations? Looking forward to seeing Deja Vu open again for row 16, baby!! Clark County School District (Southern Nevada) has their spring break March 29 - April 2. There are tons of families that make trips down during that time. I shall hopefully be avoiding large crowds by making my next visit March 21 & 22nd (Sunday and Monday)

ebl
The one and only reason I would want to ride Percy is for the honor of having ridden each and every coaster that has ever operated at SFMM---all 22 of 'em. (However, even in 1971 when the park opened, I was too big for it.) Do I care? No. Eric
austinlee
^^^^^ I'm going that week, most likely on 3/25. I think crowds will be light that week since most schools are still in. The city of Orange has Spring Break from 3/29-4/9. I'm think most of Orange County is off at that time. I have been to the park either the week before or the week after Spring Break before and crowds have been very light every time.
Cavs Fan
I am going to the park on spring break and because I am too lazy to look through 1,100+ pages of this thread, I am going to ask a stupid question. Which rides should I go on right at the beginning? Is it still X2? Terminator? Tatsu? Superman? Goliath? Percy?
kidcoaster 2
Haha I would definatly head for Percy first But from what I hear either head for X2 first or head up to Tatsu then Termy.
