Magic Alumni
Well, since we're two days from the "Big" Announcement, let's make some final predictions and see who comes out the closest. Â My guess is... SFMM: The spinning flat water ride that Six Flags supposedly bought a bunch of and a Nighttime Spectacular to go in the Full Throttle area. SFHH: A new slide complex...FINALLY! Probably one of those drop loop racers though I prefer the first water coaster in SoCal.

Jerome
I wasn't saying that Rev was for ERT. I was just making a "What if" statement...as in what if we had Rev for ERT...and who could endure the wrath of a neutered Schwarzkopf ride. Â In previous years there has been Revolution (and Viper) ERT at night. I remember one year riding Revolution during night ERT and the employees were excited people were actually coming to ride (if I remember right, there were only six or seven people on the train and when we got back there was maybe one person waiting). Due to the trees, Revolution is actually a pretty decent ride when it's dark, but I wouldn't ride more than once since it's still the roughest coaster at the park. What surprised me is Gold rusher at night. But for me any ride with no line is fun... Yes Ninja when the shadows are casting is enjoyable. It's all about the time of the day when I ride a terrain coaster.

But they also work on theming for Scream and they tear down The old Ben and Jerry's building and put a flat ride there.

Colossus is already such a fun ride but RMC does such a fantastic job. This would defi items make colossus a new hit at the park! Would love to see this happen. I could see them putting the camel back right back into colossus!
adamd
Given no visible signs of construction for a new ride (besides the fence to the left of Full Throttle Wings, but nothing was torn down there yet), anyone think this could be the year they finally announce a restoration to Revolution? The new trains/brakes like they have on Sooperdooperooper at Hershey?

The new trains/brakes like they have on Sooperdooperooper at Hershey? Â Don't get my hopes up!! If this did happen in 2014 and Iron Colossus in 2015, I would definitely be happy with SFMM. But I just don't see current management stepping in that direction... Â Revolution needs something bad, but I'd imagine they'd tear it down before putting any money into restoring it. 805Andrew
I certainly hope Apocalypse is open again by West Coast Bash. Last time I was at Magic Mountain, Apocalypse was also closed. I've never had X/X2 closed when I've gone to the park, so if it is closed during WCB it will be a first for me.
