  1. Roller coasters, scrapbooking, swing dance, singing, writing.
  2. That really is a shame. The last time I was at KD, I could only ride Rebel Yell backwards. Riding it forwards left me with really bad bruises from being thrown into the lap bar.
  3. I got about 7 or so hours last night. Not bad, considering I was working on a math project all day yesterday, and had swing dance lessons, and then had to wake up early for an 8:00 a.m. class. (I know 8 doesn't sound early, but when you're in college, it is.)
  4. Congratulations!! Juno was a great movie, definitely one of the best I've seen in a long time.
  5. This movie looks so cool! This series has been one of my faves for years now, and this one looks like it will be right up there with the other three!
  6. Mine's Jaclyn. But I have a Hebrew middle (and first ) name too, which is Razel Yosefa. ~ Randi "I actually kinda like my name" Jaclyn Bass
  7. ^ No, it was a Birthright Hillel trip. I went with 40 other kids from my school, University of Delaware. Probably the most outdoors-y thing we did was the night in a Bedouin encampment, and climbing Massada/ floating in the Dead Sea. Basically, what we did was more touristy stuff, but it was still a blast.
  8. ^ Hey, I just got back from a Taglit-Birthright trip myself, three days ago. It was one of the best experiences of my life!
  9. Bart (after drinking the squishee made entirely of syrup): Whooooah, that's good Squishee!
  10. I totally asked my parents for this, and a few other TPR dvds, for Hanukkah!
  11. The AmeriSuites Lake Buena Vista (about a mile or so away from Downtown Disney) was absolutely horrible. There were just so many things wrong with it. - The room had a broken a/c unit, which resulted in a never-ending circulation of Arctic-cold air. - My sister and I slept in the sofa-bed, but we had to put the sheets (which were threadbare and ripped) on ourselves. -The showerhead was broken, so water barely dripped out, and the toilet clogged after every flush, which ultimately resulted in my family and I using the puplic restroom in the hotel lobby several times. - The bathroom itself was one of the divided ones, with the toilet and shower in their own room, and the sinks in the sleeping area of the room, and the only light for the bathroom was over the sink, so the door had to be kept open when someone was peeing or showering, just so they wouldn't be in the dark. -The elevator was past its inspection, and honestly, it scared me worse than Tower of Terror. All-in-all, the whole ordeal was just a nightmare.
  12. There's this awesome Dutch Market by my high school that has an incredible cheese-sampling section. They have some of the most amazing stuff, like smoked mozzarella, and a really creamy "farmer's cheese." It's very good stuff. I am also completely addicted to eating grated parmesan (only... I pour out a whole pile of it, and eat that). In short, cheese is very tasty.
  13. The pizza at Hersheypark (I think it's Famous Famiglia's) is awesome. I closely follow this with Pinnochio's Village Haus (Magic Kingdom) and the Leaning Palms (Typhoon Lagoon).
  14. Elementary: J. Hampton Moore Beavers/ Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Patriots Middle: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Panthers High: Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles College: University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens
  15. Wow, great TR! Some of those rides looked incredibly fun. And I thought the night motion shots looked awesome!
  16. Great video! Haha, that song (or at least the chorus of it) is used as a warm-up for the theatre kids at my school before our shows (although we also mention Star Wars and random animals). Plus that spinny thing looks really fun, although nauseating. Randi "woo-hoo for fast food-related stuff" Bass
  17. -Pinnochio's Village Haus: Magic Kingdom -Thunder Falls Terrace: IOA -Mixed Grille: Hersheypark Other than that, all I've really eaten at parks is the standard burgers and fries. However, my one of my friends said the the falafel at Hersheypark's Central PA Kosher Mart is some of the best she's ever eaten.
  18. How about... Girls Rianna Alvey Skye Alvey Aria Alvey Jadyn Alvey Boys Tristan Alvey Hayden Alvey Brian Alvey Randi "I babies! Congrats!!!" Bass
  19. Where to begin? 1) Mixed Grille at Hersheypark (in the food court next to Storm Runner) has amazing wraps, soups, and gyros. 2) Pinnochio's Village Haus at the Magic Kingdom has great Italian-style options, like panini and antipasto salads, and it's not too expensive. 3) Thunder Falls Terrace at Islands of Adventure - great for rotisserie chicken and ribs. 4) Toluca Legs Turkey Company at Disney-MGM Studios... mmm, those turkey legs rock! 5) The Mickey waffles at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at the Port Orleans French Quarter resort... I had them thirteen years ago, and still am drooling over them. 6) Casey's Corner at the Magic Kingdom has very good corn dog nuggets. 7) Richter's Burger at Universal Studios Orlando= yum. Randi "must eat... sounds soo good... *drool*" Bass
  20. My school's music department (both vocal and instrumental) got to participate in the Magic Music Days program at the start of February. Our Jazz Ensemble performed in Cosmic Ray's Starlight cafe, our choirs (Concert, Treble, and Chamber) sang in the Galaxy Palace Theater Stage in Tomorrowland, and our Marching Band also performed (with Celine Dion in the audience- and marching right along with the band-!) It was definitely one of the coolest experiences I have ever had as part of a musical ensemble, and I completely agree that is an amazing program. Randi "Yay for music and Disney- an awesome combination" Bass
  21. It's so awesome to know that there are other Cirque-lovers on this board! I haven't made it out to Vegas to see any of them, but I did see Varekai live, and it was absolutely amazing. I've seen every single one that's been broadcast on TV (Varekai, Alegria, Quidam, Saltimbanco, Dralion, La Nouba, Nouvelle Experience, and the Cirque specials- Fire Within, Soltrom, and Midnight Sun) and I completely love the magic that is Cirque personified. Randi " I <3 Cirque!" Bass
  22. ^^ same here with Latin tests/ exams! ( I was the only person in my school to be inducted into Latin Honors Society this year!) I can sing really well (I made my school's two very advanced, audition-only choirs), I can write very well (both songs and stories), and I can act ( I was also just initiated as a member of the International Thespian Society). Randi "semper ubi sub ubi- always where under where" Bass
  23. Yo mama ate so much fast food, McDonald's had to change the name of their burgers from Big Macs to Big Mamas. Yo mama's so dumb, she tried to call the hospital and asked, "what's the number for 911?" Yo mama's so hairy, she needs a lawn mower to keep it all trimmed. Yo mama's so fat, she uses a carpet as a towel. Yo mama's so fat, she puts one toe in a swimming pool, and the splash is so big, everyone else drowns. Yo mama's so dumb, when she wants ice cream, she puts a cow in a freezer.
  24. All of these are from my school's musical. We performed "Footloose" and I was a townsperson/ one of "Irene's Country Kickers." me, with two of the other "Kickers," (well, actually one is "Irene") talking with "Rusty" (who is my stage daughter when I am a townsperson) about her boyfriend's inability to dance me looking all grown up, lol me in my "big number" me in "church" looking at my "daughter"
