  1. Doing it with hot glue. What's worse than Knoebles being bulldozed over and converted into real estate?
  2. Just a friendly reminder to out friends whose home park is SFGAm: You are getting the strongest launch in North America. I wouldn't complain if I were you. Also yay lapbars! Also I don't think the train is as ugly as some people say, I think it looks fine.
  3. ^ True; however, having regular substantial additions including a Justice League, Cyborg, three new coasters, and the world's tallest drop tower probably helped
  4. Honestly B&M stand-up restraints aren’t all that bad once you figure out how to ride them. The main trick is basically to actually stand up instead of sitting on the bicycle seat thingy. Try to keep the seat a few inches below you, and putting your head toward sometimes helps too.
  5. Interesting...I wonder how long it will take them to fail to assemble this. In all seriousness this is pretty interesting, I hear GIB’s (when not run with the awful Premier trains) can be awesome, and I hope the park can manage to avoid a repeat of the last new coaster they tried to open.
  6. Blu Post #300!!1! Probably should have chosen a more worthy thread for it - oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  7. I just want a Ste ven Universe section. That is all I ask for.
  8. Tornado - Legendia Vekoma - Enigma
  9. Actually unrelated to the current discussion: a Vekoma hyper today would probably be freaking awesome based on what they've been doing recently in Poland and what's under construction in eastern Asia. See Lech coaster for example. Anyway back to our regularly scheduled SFStL b*tching
  10. Now that I'm unlikely to go to any new parks in 2018, here's my final talley of parks I got to: -SFA -SFGAdv -SFGAm -Knoebles -Hersheypark -Adventure Park USA While nothing too insane, I'm actually incredibly happy with how many parks I was able to go to! I've gotten to go to parks far more this year than any other year before, and I visited two new parks, both of which I had a great time at (SFGAm and Knoebles ). I can't wait to see how many park visits I rack up when I actually start driving Onward to 2019!
  11. I have no clue what these are but I approve
  12. It looks amazing! Not that I expected anything less from RMC. Reminds me of a cross between Goliath (SFGAm) and Hakugei! I can't wait to see this thing built. When it's done, I'd argue that Energylandia will have one of the if not the best 1-2 punch in Europe! Side note: Anyone else realize the Schwur Des Karnan music playing throughout the video? Seems like it was being played by whoever recorded it, but that's still a bit odd. Not going to complain though, as Karnan probably has my favorite coaster soundtrack ever
  13. Tallying up everyone's attendance, we get 16 visits in 2018 (which will become 17 w/Vonni's HITP visit), at least 5 in 2017, and at least 3 in 2016. With some math, we can calculate that SFStL has had a record breaking ~200% increase in attendance from 2016 and 2017 combined! This park is doing insane, you guys totally deserve a raptor
  14. Happy 1000th page of discussion Canada's Wonderland thread!
  15. Cool build! Nice to see that kids were interested, I know that if I saw that as a 5th grader you'd have a tough time dragging me away
  16. Great report! You have succeeded in putting this park on my bucket list. Did you know that park is set to be featured in Fallout 76 (upcoming video game)? I guess it's already sufficiently apocalyptic, they didn't need to do much work Based on your report, this park looks like if Knoebles and Little Amerricka had a kid and then that kid got blackout drunk Would you say that's accurate?
  17. Just a reminder that Knoebles is only a four hour drive from Kennywood (And there’s Lakemont right in the middle of you want that ancient credit). Dorney and Hershey are there too, though I see you’ve done Hershey already.
  18. Rather Mundane Contribution
  19. ...this unfortunately didn't work as smoothly as it should've because...
  20. And I thought my fright fest Saturday visit was bad
  21. ^Thx. Do the Saturdays vs Sundays during FF differ much crowd-wise? Also of the next three weekends of FF is there any recommendation for which to choose crowdwise, or is it unpredictable?
  22. I love the TR-styled updates! The park looks great! I should really read the games forum more...
  23. Any chance someone could get an image of the changes to the drop (without breaking the park rules of course)? I'd be interested to see how significant the changes are.
  24. How are crowds generally for the last two weekends? Is it worth coming on a Friday evening?
