  1. You're not being serious, are you? Haven't you watched world wide news on Feb 30th??? Ikr, I thought everyone knew Found it!
  2. Dammit! I just accidentally clicked the "mark everything read" button for Themeparks, Rollercoasters, and Donkeys. I still had like several dozen unread threads.
  3. Anyone else remember the plans leaked like a year ago to increase dragster's tophat height by like an extra 350 feet?! Does nobody remember that? Pretty sure it was leaked last year around Feb. 30th or something.
  4. ^No, but good guess. I actually hadn't heard of that ride, looks quite interesting. This coaster is east of the Mississippi River.
  5. Friendly reminder that if you wind up going to Hershey, also hit up Knoebles. This is mandatory. If you have never been to either, and you must choose one, I would choose Knoebles.
  6. Any idea when in the year SFA opened their starflyer, since that's probably the best estimate of when this one will open.
  7. Tbh, if they actually got Scandia Screamer I wouldn't complain. (Yes I know they won't)
  8. Did the back at least provide a pop of air on the drop? It looks like the sort of messed up drop that would give bizarre air in the back (see Demon SFGAm)
  9. Is it east or west of the Mississippi? I'll give that hint once I see some more wrong guesses or activity (or if enough time goes by )
  10. Hah. I figured it had to be a filter. Looked way better in orange, though... For a second I thought you were saying there was a new word filter involving yellow supports, and I got really confused
  11. Alright, here's your hint: On this credit, you'll find some of the best airtime you can get out of a tiny American kiddie coaster not at a park beginning with the litter "K"
  12. Ugg. Are quote tags that hard to get right? BBCode isn't complicated. And trimming quotes seems to be a lost art too. I know, right? It's not that hard...
  13. ^That's actually an awesome photo I wonder when that video will go up The dry park can get moderately busy during parts of the year (I actually had a handful of visits where almost all rides ran two trains!) The waterpark, however... This is just one example of the insane crowds Hurricane Harbor can get. It's actually a fun waterpark when you're not in danger of getting trampled. Luckily that day I was only in HH to grab pics of the new Wahoo River Another photo showing the high crowds
  14. ^^Interesting, JJ has those side seatbelts too, though I've never seen anyone have an issue with them. Perhaps our seatbelts are longer or configured differently? Or perhaps I've just been blind, and there actually are walks of shame on JJ.
  15. Great updates! The pirates ride redo looks great! I wonder why they didn't just advertise that as the new for 2019 attraction, seeing as they just received a major thrill attraction, so advertising a family friendly ride would seem like the logical next step, especially such a good one. Six Flags is wierd Also: Are there any notable differences between Poltergeist and Jokers Jinx's trains? My dad, who is a big guy who often has trouble fitting on some rides, actually said he found JJ's restraints to be among the comfiest and easiest to get into (in SFA). Very interesting... I look forward to the next update!
  16. I'd be interested to see the individual park figures (yes I know they don't release them), as I'd like to compare the parks that got big new additions with those that didn't. I'd also be interested in comparing other Easter park's numbers early in the year vs later in the year to see just how much of an excuse weather can be for initial poor performance. A question for those who live near CP, KD, CGA, and KBF: How much advertising did you guys get for your new additions? A part of me wonders whether poor marketing could be partially responsible for disappointing numbers. Personally, I noticed that despite living 2-3 hours from Dorney and KD in either direction, I recieved little advertising for KD, and vitually none for Dorney (ok techincally I did get a lot of online Twisted Timbers ads, but that's probably just because of my search history). Meanwhile, I recieved regular ads from SFA and Hershey (which are significantly closer to me, but the proportions of advertising still seem quite off). The potential marketing issues could easily just be me making things up, since I'm just a 16 year old who's never even had a paying job, but a part of me is curious to hear what you guys think.
  17. As awesome as that would be, that's definitely impossible. Even if there was a mid course allowing for multiple trains, the only thing separating that airtime hill and the stall is a single dive loop (or immelman, not sure which direction the train goes). As in, the train goes over the top, then immediately turns around and goes through the bottom (or the other way around - you get the point).
  18. Yup! If given the choice, would choose to ride Kosmo's Curves over Grizzly @CGA (preferably answered by someone who has ridden both)?
  19. Help I've been listening to music by C418 (the guy who composed Minecraft's soundtrack) nonstop. It's addictive (and really good)!
  20. Interesting, when did that happen? As I recall, part of the reason for using the parking lot in the initial plans was to conserve more of the natural forest around it as part of an agreement with Six Flags and local wildlife activist groups or something along those lines. Any idea what changed?
  21. Cool! Glad's They're actually making that a thing. Do I recall them saying that most of it is supposed to be built over the parking lot?
  22. I mean, I guess they could be opening day ready if they wanted too, but... it's Six Flags...
