  2. ^This!! Ugh - just irritates the crap out of me. Irrationally so, I'll admit - but it does.
  3. For those who are interested - RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 6 starts tonight!!! I, for one, am super-excited. Totally addicted to that show.
  4. ^ Seriously?? That is awesome news! Loved that show and was rather disappointed when it was cancelled.
  5. It is awesome to see the Cyclone getting some love. It was definitely a "memorable" ride the two times I've visited . Looking forward to more news and updates from Coney Island! David
  6. ^ Knoebels is freaking amazing - and their woodies are great - especially Phoenix!!!
  7. Awesome report so far Chuck. Looking forward to the rest. Seeing the Trip Reports from this trip is why I decided to risk it and do the 2007 Midwest tour. Like you, I didn't know anything about the people I would be travelling with other than what I learned on the trip boards. Best decision ever. d
  8. I really dislike bag checks and lockers so for me it is pockets only: Phone keys smokes lighter wallet If I am going to a water park, I will have my swimsuit on and will bring my towel with the things listed above. I rarely go to a water park and the theme park in the same day (unless on a TPR Trip ) so I never need to bring a bag to a park.
  9. The thing that strikes me about Kraken is how very re-rideable it is. It is a lot of fun and a coaster that I could easily marithon. Kumba is my favorite B&M in Florida, but Kraken is easly my 2nd.
  10. Schwartzkopf loops (Mindbender....mmmmmmmm) and the B&M zero gee roll, especially on Kumba due to the speed at which it takes it.
  11. That is not a word that I have ever associated with Knoebels . More and more intriguing
  12. I would love to see B&M's take on the Loch Ness Monster at BGW. Not to replace it, because I love that ride, but to see what their "version" of it would be like would pretty awesome. Imagine two of those huge B&M vertical loops interlocking. It would also be cool to see their take on some of the now gone Arrow Loopers like GASM.
  13. ^ Part of me wants to visit said websites for a daily dose of C-R-A-Z-Y...but I digress. Living 20 minutes from the park and holding an annual pass, I am ashamed of myself that I have not taken advantage of this yet. I am going to make it a point in the next week to go and try all of this new awesomeness out!
  14. Recently...Windseeker. Rode it for the first time at night and I am not a fan of heights. It was windy and I was white knuckled the entire time. I-305. I gotta say, my first ride on it had me very nervous. I'd ridden Millenium Force before, but I-305 just seemed so much..."bigger." I absolutely love it and rode many many many more times during morning and evening ERT - but wow! People often tell me of the rides on top of the Stratosphere, but I am not worried about those. There is not a snowballs chance in hell anyone will actually get me up to the top of that tower to force me to go on them . P.S. - standing next to Falcon's Fury this weekend....yeah, I'm already terrified.
  15. Viper at SFoG - miss that Shuttle Loop and could ride it again and again! For non-coaster: The Drunken Barrels and the Spindle Top at SFoG as well. When I was a wee tyke and not into rollercoasters - I could spend hours on those two spin-n-pukes that were right next to each other. David
  16. Add another for Kumba's zero-g roll or the speed at which it enters the Cobra Roll. It is just insane (awesomely insane.)
  17. ^ I don't like water parks IN theme parks. I love to go to a water park and absolutely love going to a theme park. When they are combined - ugh. I don't know why - but I loathe going to a water park inside a theme park. Anywho....back on topic - if it is a new water attraction, I am looking forward to Knoebel's take on it.
  18. ^ It is. I rode it yesterday! I have to say, this tower is just enormous in person. I get butterflies in my stomach looking at it now - and the ride isn't even done yet. This is going to be terrifying and I cannot wait!
  19. ^Strange, unique and terrifying! Seriously, The Zipper is one of the most messed up rides to me. I still ride them at the fair every time I see one, and the operators will usually start the car flipping before the cycle even starts!
  20. Old School B&M's like Kumba or Schwartzkopf's like SFoG's Mindbender. and El Toro
  21. ^ Good news is that that one turn is the most brutal part of the ride. It is definitely a start!
  22. It is really cool to hear his feelings about the "old Texas Giant" and "Non-Iron Rattler"! What a difference, huh?
  23. That was my first TPR Trip!! Those chicken hats and random dance parties!! Oh...good times...good times...
