  1. TusenFryd, they have a slightly stronger lineup (also, how the heck do you pronounce this?) Apple pie or pumpkin pie?
  2. Sweet! The more Intamin launched coasters in the world, the better.
  3. ^They can. Millennium Force's lift usually picks up speed about half way up once the train before it clears the block. But since most of these Intamin coasters with cable lifts have rolling blocks when trains enter the station, the lift speed doesn't vary much since there is plenty of time left over. Not sure why Intamin/Energylandia opted for a chain lift for this ride, but I imagine it will be quiet and smooth like a cable lift hill (like on the Superman hyper coasters).
  4. Sounds like fun! I like that the four major thrill coasters at Knott's are all very different and unique in their own way. There is no "clear best coaster" since there are goods and bads about all of them. I can't wait to ride in July!
  5. Even though it's fun to make jokes about how ridiculously long it takes SFMM to install a flat ride, this is going to be a fantastic addition to the park. And all of the upgrades I've seen (especially the bathrooms, that was so needed) look great. Hopefully it will be open when I visit in July, but I'm keep my expectations low tbh.
  6. Got a brand new PC a couple weeks ago and it's running like a dream. Planet Coaster and No Limits 2 run flawlessly. Worth every penny!
  7. Is it bad that I actually really wanna go to this park, just to see how bad all the coasters are?
  8. And you've determined this from your two years of driving? Yes? Not really sure why that means I cannot have a preference over ways intersections are controlled...
  9. 1999 (aka B&M galore): 1. Afterburn (#1 only because I've ridden it and love it) 2. Dragon Challenge ( ) 3. Apollo's Chariot Other contenders are Raging Bull, Incredible Hulk, a Batman clone, Georgia Scorcher, and a couple Premier spaghetti bowls. Oh, and Ride of Steel at Darien Lake.
  10. Like 3 posts above you man. Well, to be fair, no dive coasters sit 12 across...
  11. Cannibal, yesterday afternoon. Such a great coaster with one of my favorite drops out there.
  12. Wow, that thing swings crazy close to Joker. Looks great. How the heck is this thing testing and getting ready to open soon but at SFMM it's still just a huge pile of dirt.
  13. Thanks for sharing. I think Delirious is my favorite looking super loop. I LOVE the two shades of purple. Very unique and eye catching.
  14. Even though they have not announced a date yet, I can't imagine it taking much longer. Memorial Day weekend is my guess. I can't see this opening in June.
  15. Sorry Im late to answer this and you've already been there, but for others who may go on limited days I've seen that limited rides ALWAYS includes the 'Dipper, and ALMOST ALWAYS includes Undertow. The east end of the park is usually entirely closed on limited days. See photo: Thank you for the information, although I didn't end up going. However I am almost certainly going to NorCal this July, but SCBB will likely have all of their rides open so it isn't an issue. Good to know though, in case this trip gets pushed back again until winter.
  16. Very interesting. Given that it barely crests that drop, I bet it's there in case the train valleys.
  17. I went to the park for a few hours today. Roller Coaster is running both trains (and is a real people-eater, might I add). Cannibal and Wicked were both using their two load stations and running several cars so lines were very manageable. Samurai was also running very consistently despite a minor delay while I was in line. The only downside was that Colossus was running one train, and the line was almost to the entrance (which I have never seen on this ride). At first I thought it was because of the rain, but even once it cleared up and got sunny, they never brought out a second train. The enterprise is also fully assembled (from what I can tell) next to the bathrooms by Cannibal. I'm glad they relocated it rather than removed it like so many parks are doing with theirs.
  18. ^In high school I always started in early to mid August (between the 8th and the 15th usually), and the school year ended the first or second week of June. But that was with one week for Thanksgiving, three for winter, and two for spring break. The summer was fairly short, but the longer breaks throughout the school year was nice. That was in SoCal though, so Ohio may be different.
  19. I don't think anyone is expecting this ride to crack top 10, 20, or even 50 lists, but it's definitely a helluva lot better than Boomerang and that's all that matters to me. Plus it looks fantastic and appeals to lots of people. Can't wait to ride!
  20. Anyone going to the park this weekend? I'd prefer not to be alone, if possible!
  21. Looks good. Can’t wait to ride it in July, along with HangTime and probably even Railblazer. Hitting all three new for 2018 Cali coasters in one week!
  22. Lake Compounce, Boulder Dash - I assume.
  23. There are so many smaller Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks that could totally benefit from an RMC Raptor (even if they just keep cloning this layout). The first ones that come to mind for me are Six Flags St. Louis (Joker themed?), Six Flags America (Harley Quinn themed?), Great Escape like you said, and even Valleyfair, Dorney, Michigan's Adventure (lol) - the list goes on. Super stoked to try out Railblazer this July.
  24. Sweet! Can't wait to check it out when I go back up to school in August.
