Google Earth has recently updated aerial photographs of Knott's Berry Farm. They are dated December 2017. You can see HangTime under construction, Sol Spin in Windseeker's spot, Montezooma's new colors, and the Soak City expansion. I just thought I would share since I'm always stalking theme parks on Google Earth. HangTime under construction with pieces across the street. Sol Spin and Monte's new colors. Soak City expansion.

I’m very interested to see how well operations go on these Raptor coasters. I watched a video of Wonder Woman doing continuous three-train testing, and it looks pretty smooth with the continuous loading station. I wonder how different it will be with Railblazer, since this one won’t have the moving station as far as I know. I do, however, prefer Railblazer’s colors, theme, and name. That black and green train is going to look so good flying over orange track.

I’m not going to get my hopes too high for this one. Remember when everybody was freaking out over SFMM’s 2013 investment, and it ended up being a “good but not GREAT” ride? Not trying to sound negative, but I just can’t see the park investing in a huge $30 million giga coaster, as awesome as that would be for the park and SoCal.

Lagoon Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I’m the opposite. I really like it! Can’t wait to get back to the park once Roller Coaster reopens.

Walibi Belgium Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to Dark Vampire's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Looks like a great family coaster! I didn’t realize how low you sit on these Bobsled coasters.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Any updates on the new boardwalk/beach area that's being opened up down by Wicked Twister and GateKeeper?

Gyeongju World 2018 Attractionsthrillseeker4552 replied to Garet's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! It's interesting to see them use the old school trains/restraints on a larger scale dive machine. I guess that just goes to show how it's a park's decision and not B&M's. Also loving the color scheme!

Where Are You Going in 2018?thrillseeker4552 replied to ytterbiumanalyst's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I think I've posted in this thread twice before with overly ambitious expectations. Now that summer is drawing closer, my 2018 plans are looking pretty light. 2016 and 2017 were big travel years for me. I've already been to Knott's and SFMM several times this year. I'm definitely going to Lagoon this month, probably once Roller Coaster re-opens. I'll be going here almost every weekend in the summer. I'll be going back to SoCal in mid-July to ride HangTime, CraZanity, and probably Electric Eel as well. Other than that, nothing too exciting for the time being. Something may happen in the fall or winter, but time will tell.

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! It’s very intense, but the back left wing seat is by far my favorite seat on Skyrush. You will hang on for dear life.

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I agree with everything that has been said about Hershey. Skyrush is absolutely ridiculous (in the best way possible), but even if you end up disliking it, the park has so many other fantastic coasters, particularly Fahrenheit. That ride is by far one of the most underrated coasters I've ridden. It and Storm Runner are both great rides.

Lagoon Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Didn't you say you're buying a one-day pass one time before you start working there? If you won't have a season pass for a few months you might do better to wait until the following weekend. There's going to be a lot more of us there that weekend because there's a rumor that an unnamed roller coaster could be opening then... and this rumor isn't coming from some facebook post about 'weeks not months'. Of course, there can always be unforseen complications, which is why there's no official date. I actually may not work at the park after all. I got offered a better, more valuable job that pays almost twice as much that I couldn’t pass up. I’m a little bummed, but I’ll still be working in SLC so I’ll still visit Lagoon almost every weekend in the summer, therefore I am planning on getting a season pass.

Lagoon Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Anyone going to the park this weekend (7th - 8th)? I'm considering going Saturday, but I don't wanna be alone! I'd love to meet some fellow Utahn TPR peeps.
