  1. Ninja rules, especially from the front row. In the dark.
  2. West Hollywood, CA. I think. Maybe I'm confusing it with North Hollywood, which they call "NoHo" now. Hmm. -Amanda "Sorry, I've only lived here four years" V.
  3. I wasn't aware that it was safe to walk through that area. (sorry, I'm still relatively new to LA, was just wondering)
  4. I STILL HAVE TO WAIT 29 FREAKING DAYS TO SEE DAVID GILMOUR (the dude from Pink Floyd)!!! (sorry, I'm getting close to the concert of concerts here and it's killing me)
  5. ^OK, call me stupid. -Amanda "Shows how much I know about Robbie Williams" V. ....Oh, and 29 days until David Gilmour.
  6. Corkscrew (Geauga Lake) - also my first coaster High Roller (Stratosphere)
  7. Last week: The Hills Have Eyes. Waaaaaaaaaay scary. Last night: UHF and 1941. Weird but OK movies.
  8. Goliath has (just kidding) unlimited Intamin turns, lest you forget. Jiggly laughs. Oh. ghjbb (I have a pointy head)
  9. Um, aren't you thinking of Michael Jackson?
  10. Cool! Have a good time. ... On a side note, why the fudge does Europe and stuff ALWAYS get cooler looking tickets than the US? I mean, can't Ticketmaster take a hint? Arrgh! -Amanda "Speaking of concerts, 34 more days until David Gilmour... woohoo!" V.
  11. Every time I've been to SFMM on a weekend or a holiday I've ended up leaving early because the lines are totally insane. To answer your questions: No, the other side of Superman still isn't open. I usually go during the day before and after spring break, and the line is usually halfway thru the queue. I can't really vouch for weekends, though. And Flashback's been discussed in another thread lately; I don't really see it opening anytime soon, based on what was said there. Hope this helps. -amanda
  12. Ouch. Watch your grammar, please. That's a pretty crazy idea though.
  13. As far back as I can remember, one of my second cousins and her cousin took me to a bunch of parks (Conneaut Lake, Cedar Point, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, and Geauga Lake) in the course of a week when I was 4 or 5. I don't remember much except vomiting on the octopus/spider ride and the pirate ship at Conneaut Lake... ROFL. When I was 9 my aunt worked for a local hospital (Cleveland) and she got us discount tickets to Geauga Lake. God, I remember riding the Corkscrew (my first coaster) and the Big Dipper like there was no tomorrow. Thus would really begin my love of flats and coasters alike! So I guess you could say I went on my first flats at 4 or 5, and my first coasters at 9! And I'm still hooked on anything I can get on today, at 22/23! Amanda "I love all rides, even CHANCE INVERTERS" V.
  14. I have three words for you: "Miracle on Figueroa". Best game I've ever gone to. GO KINGS!!!
  15. The last time I went to the IX Indoor Amusement Park was about ten years ago. The log flume's water looked dirty, the travelling coaster looked kinda rickety, and the Zipper looked like it was about to fall apart right then and there. There were a LOT of kiddie flat rides and games, and not much more. I can't really tell you much about nowadays (I haven't been there since then and moved to CA 4 years ago), but I certainly hope it's improved since then. -amanda
  16. I've met Nick Mason, the drummer for Pink Floyd. He was signing copies of his book (about Pink Floyd) at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood... it kicked butt.
  17. Porsche. Screw the hydraulics. Would you rather ride Psyclone or Flashback (both SFMM)?
  18. I don't have any plans for spring break, as of yet. I don't go to school or anything so, actually, I really don't HAVE a spring break. I just got a new job so I can't really go asking for time off right away. Plus, I'm broke. Um... I have concert tickets for April 20th. That's the only recreational thing I have planned so far for the coming months. Oh, and I'll probably hit up SFMM a few times. -amanda
  19. Haha, that's cool. What I find more fun is to print out a picture of whatever/whoever I'm ticked off at and stick it to a dartboard. It's far more satisfying. -amanda
  20. "But, sir, eet's only a wafer-theen mint..."
  21. Good luck, I hope everything goes well!
  22. name the eight separate themed areas that have their own distinctive attractions. High Sierra Territory Gotham City Colossus County Fair Samurai Summit Cyclone Bay Baja Ridge Pirate's Cove and... um... Six Flags Plaza? (this is off the top of my head, btw... no research required)
