My brother's friend had a Nintendo growing up and I remember spending countless afternoons at his house, watching them play SMB 3. I didn't know FG was going to do this until I read this thread. It sounds like the Stewie movie cut into several episodes... IF THEY DO THIS, IT WILL SUCK! (At least for those who have seen the movie). Honestly, I think it's pretty lame of them to end the season like this. I mean, I've looked forward to most of this season more than the Simpsons (who used to be my favorite, mind you, now this season has sucked... but that's a different story), and here they go just shoving stuff at the end and ruining everything. Well, yeah, that and the fact that they killed Corkscrew for it. Oh, and I just noticed today, again, how freaking ugly Scream! (SFMM) is. Plus it's starting to fade so that makes it even uglier.

Yay, my digital camera finally works! Here goes... Goliath's helix says, "Thanks for reading!" Our last ride of the day was Goliath, on the third last and last trains of the day, both from the front row. Then we went to go see if we could get on Batman before the park closed. The stupid sun ruined this shot, but check it out... nobody in line. Awesome. There it goes! Yay! I like this shot. On the way back into the park at 5:30, they started testing Tatsu. Um, then we went to Wendy's. But I didn't hold the camera up long enough to take a good picture. Rrrgh. ...there's a (*&(* QUEUE behind it? WTF? My husband says this is the original entrance for Revolution; does he remember right? On the way out from X I noticed this funky door behind the Panda Express. I used to think it was just themeing, but... There was also about a 20 minute line for X, with 2 trains! Woohoo! We rode twice. Oh, and they also put up fence on the exit ramp. Yippee. After that I swung around to Rapids Camp to check out the construction. Here is a random bulldozer and some guy working on the queue. I also love SFMM's choice of barrier here. Man, they really need to paint Ninja. We went on Scream and Riddler, then got bored and headed over to Jet Stream. Our first ride of the day was at about 12:45, Goliath 3 times in a row. Near-empty queue houses rule. Tatsu, Revolution, and I welcome you to my photo TR.

Between my husband and I, we probably have a few hundred records. And we do play them regularly. For some odd reason, vinyl just sounds better than CD on some albums. Oh, and Wes, Kid A totally kicks ass on vinyl.

This makes me wish that I had a yard. My parents never let us do anything besides cardboard tombstones and those fake cobwebs that get stuck in the bushes for 6 months... oh , and maybe some of those orange and white Christmas lights with skulls and pumpkins conveniently placed over them. I remember some years, trick or treating, a few people actually built haunted mazes in their yards. We were always too scared to go but now I think it would have ruled. Now I live in an apartment and I can't do anything besides screw one of those glow-in-the-dark skeletons to the door, with more fake cobwebs and fake bats and spiders. I played this the other day in an arcade in Long Beach... it was pretty freaking cool. I liked how it took my picture and displayed it on the screen (with Yoshi eyes on my head, and off-center nonetheless, lol). I raced as Yoshi and managed to get 4th place on the Pac Man Mountain course... the first time I've placed in any arcade. Sweet. -amanda
