Mechanica has a great lighting package indeed. I think they found the perfect balance of having some lights to make it look great at night, while at the same time they totally managed to avoid the fairground ride feel.

^You're not the only one, I'm definitely most excited about the theming.

Roller Soaker at Hershey back in 2008. We got in line, but it was moving very slowly and we were heading off to Knoebels for the evening, so we decided to leave it.

They may not be the greatest when it comes to rider comfort, but I LOVE the look of the classic Arrow trains. I was at Tusenfryd yesterday, and the Arrow train on Loopen was absolutely spotless. Possibly the cleanest coaster train I have ever seen, and with lots of shiny wheels. It pretty much looked brand new! It was beautiful!

This should be a great addition to the park. White Lightning is a very fun ride that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults. Really looking forward to see the theming they will put into the ride.

^^^ & ^^ I definitely agree. I do think that these "media based" rides can be great the first time when you don't know what's going to happen, but it's not a type of ride where I come off the ride thinking "Hey that was awesome, let's immediately ride it 5 more times". On the other hand, I could easily ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 5 times in a row and have just as much fun on the last ride as on the first.

Excellent trip report so far! I really have to get down to Germany/Netherlands and check out some of the parks there, it is way overdue for me. Also cool to see you visited Miniatur Wunderland. Me and a couple of friends have been talking about going down to Hamburg for years to visit the place, now hopefully we'll go sometime in October/November.

I don't care much about my count any longer either ('m around 140, give or take a few). For me the important thing is to ride good coasters that I have fun on. I'd rather go back to a park to ride good rollercoasters I have been on before, than to waste time getting on a crappy kiddie coaster that I have not ridden before. Heck, I've been to BGT twice and I haven't been on their mouse coaster yet. But as Robb said, it's all about doing what you think is fun!

Looks like a great ride! The vertical spike looks more intimidating than I thought it would do. Will be interesting to see how far up the train will go.

I haven't tried the HUSS version, but the Zamperla Giant Frisbee at Tusenfryd is a great ride, and I assume the ride experience is pretty much identical. Really a great ride! I'm also not much of a flat ride person, but I love the giant frisbees.

Awesome pictures, looking forward to see more! And they had just 'fixed' Gao and even replaced giant track sections! Imagine what it used to be like. Oh, god. Any time that ride didn't go straight, it was instant pain. I can't even imagine the old version. At least the dino driving the train was cool. I just watched the that was posted on youtube back in 2011. Man, those transitions looks truly awful!
