  1. Sad. Sad to read there was hardly any actual CHOCOLATE around, lol! And that Easter Car..... But the girls looked like they enjoyed themselves. And.... ROCK-O-PLANE! (Sorry the Astro Wheel was a no-show, though.) Thanks for sharing, Brandy.
  2. Woo hoo! Tax refund cheque arrived, a few minutes ago.
  3. Let's see... Tarantula - or Tarantella. Hmmm.
  4. Yes. September, 2007 - the first TPR Japan Tour. Diavlo, in Central Park, Japan. It was near the end of the vist there, and I guess I was one of the few at the back of the park, where the coaster is. So, I rushed over, and got one more ride in, before heading back to meet up with everybody at the front gate. Turns out I was the only one on the train, front row, centre seat. Heaven. And the ride was great, too, LOL! The coaster in question. Out in the middle of the Japanese countryside, somewhere, lol.
  5. So it's "Official" and the park is naming it on their site... Atmosfear Oooooooooo, chills and thrills, kiddies! (Actually, it probably will be for some of us, lol.) I look forward to riding it and enjoying it. In July.
  6. Mmmm. Lookin' good, from where I see it.
  7. Happy Birthday, Title Fairy! Long may you reign! Long may you re-name! Long may you.... re-mane??? oops. Remain.
  8. woo hoo great i just turned fifty-eight
  9. Just discovered... Available April 19 - through Amazon.com - woo hoo! Excellent! I figured they'd probably come out with a CD esp.for those great singing guys, Criss and Colfer included, eventually.
  10. Am curious. Has anybody been to the park recently, and seen (i.e taken photos) any of the coaster's construction progress? Been awhile, so I thought I would ask.
  11. The park needs a "park" setting to make it feel like a real... Park. Playland - needs - landscaping. And no - more - asphalt. This Star Flyer they're putting in will just help emphasize how parking-lot style this entire "amusement centre" looks - if you happen to open your eyes and look down. I see it every time I ride their ferris wheel, lol. But then, there's that awesome view of (what we call) the North Shore, and the mountains, and the inlet, and the Gulf Islands beyond the city.
  12. The Astro Wheel looks fascinating. Are the 'seats' facing each other, in pairs? It looks like that, from what I can make out. Too bad there weren't any people on the thing, then I/we could figure out size of the seat/cars. Thanks for sharing your trip there! Looks like the girls had a great time. I don't have funnel cakes at my park . And I don't get those until the annual fair (The PNE) in August!
  13. I'm still not sold on the way trumpets sound.
  14. I also noted from it's site, the thing isn't opening until...July 1st? That's like, two months into their season pass period, when the park opens, April 30th? They can't get it up and running by then? Sometimes, this park is just.... well.... meh. Only good thing for me is, it'll be finally open when I get back from my TPR Tour, lol.
  15. Well, I wasn't expecting something like this to be "the new attraction". But - that's okay - have ridden the ones in Tivoli, Holiday Park, Hansa... they're fun. And the view should be great.
  16. THIS is one of the Must-See Parks in the world I know everybody should get to at least once in their lifetime. And I hope I can get to go there again in the next few years, with another TPR tour, hint hint, LOL! They are so creative and amazingly talented in how they fit everything together and around each other. Grona Lund is a very cool park to visit and enjoy. And this new coaster will certainly be a hoot to add to my coaster credits, I'm sure, heh heh.
  17. Just found this, coming out on April 5 at Amazon.com... Question: Does anybody out there know more about this soon-to-be-released recording, specifically as to whether it's a LIVE London OR New York recording? Info.at Amazon listing doesn't say. And doesn't list artists, either. Hmmm... Great, if it's a Broadway Cast Recording, as one was never made before, right? (o:
  18. After the first season with the pregnancy story arc the writers gave her, I thought that Dianna Aragon (Quinn) should have been Emmy-nominated, at the same time as Jane Lynch (Sue) was. But she wasn't, sadly. And as this season's been moving along... I still say... Nominate the actress! She's great in the part, and Quinn appears to be 'maturing' faster than Rachel is, lol. Well, there was that whole thing about being Prom Queen. But still...
  19. We loved the episode! The whole slow-building moments of change in Blaine's expression as Curt was singing "Black Bird"... it was incredible. And then, The Kiss. It was like (for us) the coming out episode moment of "Ellen" waaaay back when... lol. Awesome. And the "original songs" were great, even the (obvious) not-too-great ones.... like "Trouty Mouth" hee hee. "Big-Assed Heart", wahoo Puck! And "Only Child" was a teensy bit better than "My Headband." (o: The scene between Quinn and Rachel was amazing - which of course led to a pretty-inspired ballad to knock out of the theatre, thanks Lea. And thanks to the editing and camera crew for how all the onstage/offtsage filming was handled. It was uplifting and very freaky constantly seeing the audience during all of it. I know we've seen audience shots before, but this one seemed so intense and into it - probably a lot of Gleeks 'extras' out there - wish we were there too on those filming days. It must have been an incredible thing to be there and be a part of it, if only watching and reacting. And "Loser Like Me" was (for us) the perfect way to finish it up. Including the confetti slushies, LOL! But poor poor Sue. Think she'll get arrested for that sucker punch? And Kathy Griffith! And Loretta Devine - Orig.Brdway "Dreamgirl" in a habit! Very cool.
  20. "Afternoon Delight" = Ambrosia Salad...
  21. Mmmmm. I look forward to riding this, on the next (hopeful) TPR Scandinavian Tour. And Piraten, too! I loved Piraten! (on TPR 2009 Scandi Tour) Several times I rode Piraten!!!
  22. SPOILER It was all about s-e-x. Sort of.
  23. Saw the touring production of Legally Blonde Thursday night... We had great seats, Centre Orch, Row 11, On The Aisle. Sweet! And the show was excellent! I admit I am always/usually a bit pre-disappointed in knowing that the tour production will not be as "exacting" tech-wise (i.e trap doors, hydraulics.... like in orig.Broadway versions.) as I have know it would be, on Broadway. But I always enjoy it even more, when I realize that stuff has been re-orchestrated and re-choreographed etc. ... and it all still works great on stage!... OMGYOUGUYS! It was a good show, the lines landed, the lyrics were very fast-paced... I had the feeling if you didn't know the cast recording as thoroughly as (ahem) "some of us do", some of it all went by, quicker than it needed to. But most of the jokes were good, and it felt upbeat and current for the times, which I enjoyed as well. Lead actress was great, good voice, she was Elle to me, heh heh. All support was excellent, too. And of course... Buster! A good show, fun, funny and uplifting. And PINK!
  24. omg Found out McDs just brought back the Shamrock Shake omg
  25. ^ At least I don't have to buy the Orig.Brdwy cast souvenir photo album from the tour, if they sell it during this show's tour. They were shamelessly selling them, along with every other "Wicked" souvenir the show was selling, there at the OzLand Shop in Universal Osaka back in 2007, lol. So, I bought one, along with a couple of t-shirts. And as cheesy as it was, including a (very) truncated production of W, I enjoyed it and sadly, it's now been removed (the whole land) for a new family-themed attraction/show/not sure. Shameless. And looking forward to this production in any case, LOL!
