  1. "I Hope I Get It" Original 1975 Broadway cast of A Chorus Line One of my all-time Hi-Fives of only a few Important Broadway Musicals, thru the decades, who deserve mention pf helping evolving the American Musical Theatre, for the betterment of all. I saw the original cast back in March of 1976 - twice! And my first ever New York trip, too!
  2. I think it has the makings of a future Romance Novel. "...They almost met, but fate - and the skyride - swept them away from each other."
  3. -ly Simple!
  4. Track 4 - The Motortown Revue: Please Mister Postman/ You've Really Got A Hold On Me / Do You Love Me from the current original broadway cast cd of MOTOWN:The Musical Never seen it, but the whole songbook is awesome! And the actors/singers are amazing, truth!
  5. I'm still waiting for that car ride to be finished.
  6. I love this shot you took of Nessie. Haven't seen one like this, in some time. Thanks for sharing your two parks' visit. The walkway going towards and into the loops is cool. It "almost" looks like as something Trick Photography-esque. (o;
  7. ^ Am so thrilled that TPR was a part of this.
  8. Yum! Home made, hand made meatballs and spaghetti for dinner.
  9. This DVD and BLue Ray is going to be released through Amazon.com and I love it that a few musicals we actually get to see it in the actual Broadway version (usually). I treasure these DVDs and (still) VHS tapes of such performances. Especially the Sondheim ones. So - can't wait for this one. Am a real Sutton Foster fan-from-a-far, heh. Hoped they would tape "Anything Goes" too. But then, who knows? This closed in January, 2010. Nearly 4 years later, for this to appear. So - anything future is .... possible. Amazon.UK is also releasing it, in their DVDs format. Cover looks cooler, IMhO.
  10. Land of Lola - from Kinky Boots Billy Porter and company
  11. "My most times" is of course my home park, Playland (PNE). Too many to count, especially having a season pass these past few years. So - the next "most times" would go to Disneyland. At least 6-8 times between 1963 and 1996. When there was still parking in front of the place, lol.
  12. I am also wondering if this type of water attraction and technology will be the same that plays out on the new Castle Boat Cruise that Shanghai Disneyland is opening with? Their PR suggest a finale of the ride, in an indoor area (under the castle and just before the unload stn.) with lots of special effects, light shows and such that the boats will pass under and by. We just might getting a preview of this Avatar attraction, through SDL. Edit to add: concept art for the Finale of the SDL Storybook Boats cruise. A lot of light tech there. Could be darker and more....blue for Avatar. (o:
  13. The grilled lamb chop from Australia. The entire menu from The Country of CHEESE. All of the France Menu - I love French food, truth! The filet mignon from Canada - "Oh Yum Canada!" And Scotland's veggie haggis? Why not? "These are a few of my favorite things....to eat" at this year's EPCOT Food & Wine Do.
  14. meandering classical music played on a piano sounds much nicer as background music than if it were heavy metal
  15. Great seeing these early photos, and knowing what OP looks like now, having been there over a year ago with TPR. The coaster looks very nice, sticking out of the trees, and the water behind it. Very cool. Thanks for sharing them! Still a great view of the coaster and beyond the site it's on. Mmmmm. (sept.2012)
  16. Happy Congrats and Hugs for you both!
  17. A few new photos of the Ratatouille construction. By PhotosMagiques, through Screamscape.com. Over view of the show building and facades. Closer view of the attraction entrance. View of Gusteau's Restaurant. The cast costume bldg. morphing into a part of the "City of Paris".
  18. I think this site should be devided into two parts... Top Ten Coasters: North America, and Top Ten Coasters: Rest of The World, lol. And I have been on all of these coasters in _koppen's list here. And agree with some of it.
  19. ^ Playland (PNE) is not a "theme" park. It's an amusement park, at best. And there is a difference between the two. Theme Park to me means landscaping, actual themed buildings, pathways, etc. Playland has always looked to me, like some kind of carnival midway set-up ready to pack up and leave, at a moment's notice. Got that awesome wood coaster, though... I mean, does THIS look like a "theme park" to you? There's no theme here, except "Rides on Asphalt."
  20. Yes it did. Two new parks on the TPR Japan Tour this summer, up in Hokkaido Island of Japan had a few coasters I didn't expect to be smooth much, but weren't rough at all, including an SLC I/we rode!
