  1. The Death Star pumpkin looks like it was worth the fours hours' carving - amazing!
  2. ^ Oops. Sorry. On the video, it ends with April 2014 being the Opening Date. That is essentially two or so months before the TPR Scandi Tour gets to Liseberg. And I love the park, even without the new coaster coming. So am very happy about that.
  3. I thought that last "tea ceremony" we went through was very (quietly) funny. It being all guys - and Elissa. I thought one of the men was going to fall over, tired from the day that we'd just done, heh. It was amusing to watch everybody. And seeing Robb on his cell phone while our "tea guide" goes on and on and on...
  4. omg. Open just two or so months, and then TPR gets there.
  5. The increase is still worth it, for either of these two parks.
  6. It reminds me of Playland's Coaster, if Coaster were stretched out a few blocks more, lol.
  7. Sooooo many Tagadas, there! You definitely hit that jackpot Martin, lol. And the food services there at the parks....
  8. I found the future Animal Kingdom AVATAR attraction! It - could - work...
  9. Decided to BUMP this, since I myself have actually started to try and put something together around our front door. And it's still a "work in progress", so be kind. And is anybody out there wanting to show and tell what they have cooked up for their outdoor Halloween display, etc? This is our front porch, as it is. Now turned the porch light off, and switched on a black light I put up. Black light stuff all around the door. Not great, but I am learning. And have to contend with a street light directly across from.... grrr. So this is it....for now. I have other older stuff to possibly bring out. And orange lights, too! Hmmm....
  10. my right arm is still sore. the cream i am using is helping, i guess. still.....grrrr.
  11. To add to my obscure post before, (previous page w/photos!) I also want to be able to come to back to both Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai DL, after it opens in 2015, as they've had some more time to build on, etc. Hong Kong already has. Outside the berm. And is adding Marvel in a few years. I hope SDL will do the same after it opens. And I hope I am still around to go to it all, lol.
  12. OCT Thrust SSC1000 - Happy Valley Wuhan
  13. The ride was a touch rough for me, but I still enjoyed the ride. I wish I could have ridden it, when "the mountain" was all around it, back in it's Japan days.
  14. I got this from Amazon.UK a few days ago. Starting to read it now. It has a lot of backstory and history to Alton Towers itself, before the theme park came into being, as it is today. Not a lot of photos in it, but so far has started out, an interesting read.
  15. Happy 10th Anniversary Elissa & Robb!
  16. ^ Late 2015. Which of course, could always change.
  17. Vertical construction has begun! All building of the foundation has finished. DisneyAndMore just put up some photos of the first steel beam to go in, along with a ceremony marking the beginning of this. It all starts to go vertical now. And I have no idea where this first piece of steel has gone. Maybe it's the start of that HUGE castle? (o: Workers and Management gather for the Ceremony, etc.
  18. Sorry I/we missed out on this one. (arriving late, in Japan tour) Looks like I think David could of handled it. Me too, lol.
  19. oh - my - gawd. i love it.
  20. i've had enough of this crap.
  21. The food looks awesome. The group looks.... typical TPR.
  22. ^ You know, I don't remember ever seeing what the actual setup is for this version of Fantasmic! Thanks for sharing the pix... and enjoy the show!
  23. Montezuma's Revenge (Knotts)
  24. Wow. Some great shots here, Adam. So much to notice when one isn't riding an attraction. Thanks for sharing this all with us. And the food! Yum. But - I believe that the statue of Triton on top of the Little Mermaid attraction building, came from a fountain garden pool that was in Disneyland before It was removed and placed where it is now. Could be a copy of course, but I believe that's what happened to this statue before Mermaid opened. Here's where Triton used to be, somewhere just off the Central Hub of the park.
