At least Universal waited, until most of the Potter movies were released, before they started creating the PotterVerse. This is way too fast for attractions to be created, let alone a whole new park. IMhO. Then again, if it works, and the people come, who am I to say...?

Right now, the only Disney park I would think this attraction could be duplicated, would be at the France pavilion in EPCOT. And beyond that...? Actually, after this attraction debuts, it will be interesting to see if they do anything with this technology for a ride at Shanghai Disney.

All water rides! (And not the waterpark stuff.) A Splash Battle, reverse water coaster. Flumes. Raft ride... It could work in the heat of Phoenix. Heck of a water bill, though...

Am I seeing things, or are those two drops of these "Racing Shoot-the-Chute" (?) rides.....steep? I mean, those two drops look pretty vertical, yes? No?

People taking photos of us, as we were getting off the bus, at one of our first parks on the TPR China Tour, Sept.2012. No big deal at the time. But when we left the park to head back to the bus, they were swarming us with photo key tags they had made up while we were in the park! And some were very persistant. I had one of them, who I assume had "my key tag" on him, yelling at me through the window of the bus, where I was sitting! Still trying to get some kind of $ off of me. Very freeky. And a bit un-nerving. Until we did the boat cruise in Shanghai...

^ Just so you know, I really don't think "Ratatouille" will be finished and "soft opening", until well into the spring. That's what I heard/read, lately. And that's why I was making my (possible) plans for Disney Paris in late 2015. Everything else should be open at the Studios in January. Just not "Ratatouille", yet.

We had a sampler platter of wonderful seafood at Captain Jacks Oyster Bar, back in the spring of...1987? Wonderful place to relax in, with a view of the Lily Belle Pre-Pleasure Island days. Sorry we didn't ever get back to it. My new coaster from Sapporo (Japan Tour'13) sits beside Captain Jack's. Arrrrrrr... (o;

This is what's bringing me and David back to Paris, hopefully in the fall of 2015. This, and for David: Crush's Coaster, Road Rally, and Tower of Terror, and for us both: Toy Story Land (credit!). It really looks great, even if a bit redundant, (Fake Paris setting in....Paris?). No matter. It's Disney. It's looking awesome.

I agree, that was definitely one of the better Bobkarts I had been on, in past tours. I especially enjoyed NOT being able to see that far ahead, of how the layout went. (This was the TPR China Tour, Sept.2012)

I really want to get one of the t-shirts. But I haven't "survived" it yet. Maybe they could print some shirts up, without the "I Survived" on them? (EDIT to add: Couldn't stand it. Had to buy a shirt anyway, lol!)
