One car taking up two spaces on the street, in front of our house... Grrrr.

^ Well, loops and corkscrews had to simply exist, somehow. The original US corkscrew, at Knott's, would be totally lame by today's creations. And Revolution at Magic Mountain was the first looping coaster in the US, yes? Pretty tame now, but thankfully it's layout is still pretty good. And these were the start of the rest of every thing else we ride today. That said, this was an awful coaster to ride. Period. And there were a few more to come in the TPR China tour last year.

One of the most different/scary layout we encountered on the 2009 (and to be 2014) Scandi Tour, was Cobra at Tivoli Friheden in Denmark. A steel invert, a la' SLC. I can't even begin to describe this odd "flip over" near the end of it, (and I am sure those who know better can describe it better than myself) which could almost give one whiplash.

Couldn't resist making a change for the Holly Daze... This one was taken by Dan (CoasterFev) in the hotel "bar" at our Tokyo Hilton Hotel, after I had returned from Major Souvenir Shopping at Bon Voyage, near (and outside of) the parks. This was the resort's 30th Anniversary "ears." The Japanese aren't too keen on the actual original ears cap model. They like these much more, it appears. Sadly, this is The Only Time I wore It. It was much too warm and humid to even try wearing it in the parks. Not to mention figuring out where to put it, on certain attractions. But Dan captured me with it on, if only for one evening, lol. Thanks Dan! Here it is, just in case I decide to change my avatar...again. (o;

^ It's actually got a couple of nice songs for the hobbits and Frodo, but everything else sounds movie screen epic... w/o the screen, LOL.

Found this on the net... The World's First Panda Hotel! In Hong Kong. One of the rooms in this unique hotel. And it looks like you can dress up like a Full Sized Panda in your room, too! And the bedroom. With pandas, every where you look! And there 'he' is again, between the beds, welcoming us! (Kinda creepy, but that's ok.)

Nope. Not worth the stress, even if I somehow got 'lucky'. The anxiousness in planning a trip would get me, before I even left the house, lol. But - FastPasses for shopping!

^ Try and make it through the Gasten Hotel, if you can allow time for it. Really, it is one of The Best Haunts on Earth, IMhO. It's an upcharge, but totally worth the extra cost

I am starting to have quite liking for things that are called Haunted Swings and/or Mad Houses. And this little park has one of the smaller ones around. Too bad, you didn't try it out. But it is fairly easy to just walk by it, and not give it another thought. Next time, right? And thanks for sharing your visit. I cannot ever get enough of that country. Looking forward to more! Right there, see it? I walked right by it on the TPR 2007 Tour, then made up for it, and rode it on the TPR 2011 Tour, lol. Fun!

Chicken and waffles seem to be around a lot, especially in the east. (Hello Springfield!) So - maybe Mrs. Knott's "Chicken in A Blanket"?

Then I'm sure you'd just run to the musical staging of The Lord of The Rings, too! From the Toronto production, before it went to London. (And I think those are fighting....orcs?) And if you can't see the show, there's the two-disc cd London recording of it, hee hee.

It's not Canada's holiday (ours was last month), but I am still very thankful for.... * Coaster at Playland (PNE) * Theme Park Review * Tokyo Disney Resort * TPR Tours! * Still being physically able to ride all coasters, good and evil.

And Robb, your fave musicals are Newsies, Les Mis, and.....? (just checking) The whole tour looked great! New York is awesome X10 and I wish I could get there much more often. Thanks for sharing your visit - and all that pizza!

^^ And I remember you were all drinking at the time, hmm? Sadly, that's the only time I wore the damned thing - from the shop (Bon Voyage) to the hotel. It was too warm to wear it in the hot daytime. And I could imagine the hell it would be, putting it "somewhere" before getting on a ride, lol. So after buying it, it stayed in the hotel room. Fini.
