Cool first PTR. That's the biggest Miler coaster I've ever seen. Wow! That's definately and "I LIIIIIIIIVVVVE!" moment getting off that thing.

This thread gets better every time I read it. Lol! The mayor and Forbes Magazine? Awesome. Skate Daze was a cool FEC and the Lazer Tag area is one of the better I've seen. Reminded me of the Unreal Tournament games in some ways. The pinball game on the left end of the 4 looked like a 2001, 2010, or Space Station machine from what little I could see of the back glass art. The other smaller pin on the right end is completely new to me. The dot matrix display on it points to mid/late 90's? Great round of updates!

FEC's that like that are always fun and yay for recycled Jeeper's Python's! I've always like Miler coasters anyway. Neat to see this place and thanks.

1. Glad people are ok so far. That one's important. 2. Bummer on all the damage. Poor Kemah got the beat-down. 3. "Yeah, I think we'll be needing another ferris wheel..." gave me a laugh. 4. Tatum has inadvertently doubled his historical park info contributions this week. If Dixie Landings gets it for whatever reason, he'll have a hat trick. I wish Kemah the best on the rebuild. Ouch, but keeping good thoughts.

Hmmm...I better get over there this year before the redo and ride MP, especially since it's required by law. This just a dark ride, right? No drops like PoTC or Norway at Epcot?

^LOL! Yeah, I feel the same way about Hooters lemon butter sauce. Man is that good! Seriously. They have good crab legs and lemon butter sauce. (yes messed up priorities given the atmosphere.) Around the holidays, our family has a crab leg dinner to celebrate. It's an odd tradition that started on a Christmas trip out to Arizona on year. Been doing it ever since. Heh, I have to avoid the local chinese buffets that serve snow crab. Hmm...may be chinese buffet time after work tomorrow. God I miss the DC area and the fish market near Kennedy Center!

While I feel for the folks dealing with Ike's aftermath (been there and my heart goes out to you, truly), it's just another lame excuse to gouge, via the speculators. Total garbage and shameful. Man, those of us who'll never get to see Coney Island really appreciate the tour. It's cool that a few things ar staying, but still a shame. And there's no shame in having a soft spot for a particular coaster. That's why we're all here. Good report and thanks.

Nice! Reminds me of the old Chesapeake Bay Seafood Houses. Crab dinners are always comical in that you're having a nice conversation about whatever while (WHACK!) (CRUNCH!) (SNAP!) is going on. It gets even funnier with the little hammers. Thank you, not only for making me hungry, but for showing one of my fave foods. Agreed with mr_teisco_delrey! Ahh, good and cheap souvenirs! Buttons, Magnets, and Postcards are great choices and travel well. Also great references to parks and rides no longer around. You just carved your niche here, friend. Well done!

Tron...LOL! I enjoyed seeing this Disneyland in depth. Hopefully it can add a few things like Haunted Mansion, etc... A shame about the lack of people. Still looks fun. Hehehehe Tron.....

I had the same thought. Another device for net surfing. Can you run the iPhone games and apps on the Touches? If so, pinball and Ms. Pacman would be a plus. The "new" nanos look more like rehashed minis from a few years ago. That aside, it does offer a bit more screen. All these are so tempting, but just keep coming back to my laptop for storage and capability. The price on an iPod is a good start on a laptop. Even so, I still want an iPod, logic be damned.
