(NYC metro area)

I really only listen to Hot 97 since that, IMO, is the undesputed champion of Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B in NYC, and dare I say, the country. I've not heard a station anywhere in my travels that matches Hot 97 in it's quality. You know t's good when artist actually mention Hot 97 in their songs, and it's not one of those crappy 'station specific' songs; it's the album cut.

If it happens to be late night on Sunday and I have the radio on, I'll flip over to Power 105. I honestly don't like that station at all. The DJs all suck over there. They are all Hot 97 rejects, or people that would never dare to try and get a job there because they know that they do not have what it takes. The only show I can listen to on that station is "Power After Hours", which is great since late night on Sunday is the raggae show on Hot 97 and I don't like that too much.

Outside of that, I'll listen to Jersey 101.5 for traffic reports.

Cincinnati

92.5 The Fox - Bob & Tom in the morning, Classic Rock all day. Probably the one FM station I listen to most.

96.5 Supertalk - Glenn Beck 10am-Noon, Andy Furman sports 4-7 p

97.3 The Wolf - Country, used to be alternative rock

K99.1 (Dayton) - Country - they have 50 consecutive minutes of music without commercials

B-105.1- Country - They've been around a long time here

Rebel 105.9 (Middletown) - Country

550 WKRC - Rush, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin

700 WLW - local talk and sports, like Bill Cunningham, Jim Scott, and Reds baseball "Brennamania!"

I used to listen to 102.7 WEBN a lot, but they dropped a lot of their good classic rock, and IMO shortened their library greatly, replacing it with a lot of not-so-good recent pop rock.

I'm pretty shure some of you heard of that lady who died from a water drinking contest on the radio, well thats what were stuck with in Saramento, CA, 107.9 The End. It is mostly hip hop mixed in with some annoying poser DJs.

But there is also some good rap stations, my favorites 102.5 and 103.5.

92.3 WTTS Local independant radio station. I don't know how to describe the music they play, so I'll just use what they say: "Five decades of world class rock." www.wttsfm.com

99.5 WZPL The music doesn't interest me, but they have involved disc jockeys that make it worth listening to. The Dave Smiley Morning Show 5A-10A and The Kelly McKay Show 3P-7P. www.wzpl.com

103.3 X103 Good to listen to for rock music usually. www.x103.com

104.5 Jack FM This station is way too corporate and they have one is basically every major city in the United States, but I listen occasionally when I want to hear some classic rock. www.1045jackfm.com

I have XM, but have yet to install it in my car.

I live in Sacramento. These are the stations that I usually like:

107.9 The End: Yes, this is the infamous station where that woman died in that water drinking contest. Yes, they play way too much R&B and Hip-hop. Yes, they play the occasional awesome rock song. That's good enough for me.

100.5 The Zone: It's a shame that this former all rock station now plays hip-hop. Awesome station.

92.5: I only listen to this when there is absolutely nothing on the above two stations. They play good rock, pop, and almost no stupid music.

106.7 KROQ - Modern rock that gets my mom mad because it's so loud!

102.7 KISS - Only plays the popular songs, but is still a pretty good station

95.5 KLOS - Old-school rock and roll

98.7 STAR - Plays anything and everything

93.1 JACK - 70's, 80's, 90's, and present-day music

All FM stations.

Kiss-Plays current hits, pretty much the only station I listen to.

Q 104-A Pretty good station that plays some good modern hits, as well as some songs from a few years ago.

Mix 106.5-I relly never usually listen to this station but I have before and they play some good more modern stuff, but a lot of classic stuff.

99.5-A country station, usually we play it in the car, and usually I'm listening to my MP3 player, but it plays good country.
