Today I went to my friend's house again and got to try out Wii Play. All I tried is fishing and the shooting game, but from the looks of it, it's pretty awesome.

I got Wii Play yesterday. It is OK, but it isn't anythin special. I mainly just got it for the Wiimote.

I actually think the Wii Vote channel is a cool concept! I love the fact that Nintendo is angling to make it more of a "lifestyle" system. I can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeve!

Really? Well thats stupid. I can see me getting it since I'd like a second remote, but if I didn't want that remote then I couldn't get the game without wasting money. Boo to you Nintendo.

I agree, the Everybody Votes Channel is great. Pleasant surprise too, definitely was not expecting that to be released. My only complaint was that I wish the polls are daily, but that is fairly minor for me. All the channels are great, I love turning my Wii on daily and checking the weather, news, etc..

 

As for Wii Play, it really should have been a launch title. It's goal is pretty much to acquaint nongamers with the Wii Remote. Very simple gameplay, that isn't very deep at all. That said, a handful of the games are quite fun, but it definitely isn't a game you'll be picking up to play again several months from now (And I love me my fun "short burst" games like Wii sports, Warioware, etc.). I'm glad I picked it up (needed another remote, and is fun for what it sets out to do), and would not be surprised if fairly soon copies will pop up on EBay w/o the remote for fairly cheap.

Why is it that all I can ever find that has to do with the Wii is the classic controller, the base thing that holds the system and controllers, and the bag that carries it all? Everything else besides games are always sold out. It sucks.

^ In the case with the Wii size doesn't matter. It may be small but it really is a great system a lot of fun too. I suggest you try one and see for yourself. I don't think anyone will flame you for your comment this isn't CB after all.

I was fairly skeptical of the Wii, but my girlfriends kid got one. I love the sports, especially the bowling.

Speaking of Wii's, my hunt for Nunchuks is over as I found my 4th final nunchuk this past sunday. Anyone play SSX Blur yet? That game's fun!

Haven't seen any available yet. One of the people at my church was/is after one since the holidays. She was just informed that she probably won't see any until around June or so. I have seen more than plenty of freezin' PS3's though, not to rip on Sony or anything...

I just read somewhere on the internet that the Wii already hit the 6 MILLION!!!! worldwide sales.

 

The Wii is already catching up with the 360 which sold 10 million.

Well I got a question for you all.... have any of you made your own sensor bar? I decided to make my own just for fun and am wondering if I should make a photo report of it...... although its impossible to find infrared LEDs. Anyways I probably gonna put some pics of my struggle to make it

Why would you get ready for flaming? I think the majority of us could really care less if you have a 360. In fact, most of us here probably also have a 360. Not sure exactly what your point was supposed to be, if there even was one.
