ArrowHater Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 A new amusement park is being built at Kansas. www.wildwestworld.org
FlyingScooter Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Wow. They should just call it Zamperla World. I wish 'em luck!
AznShortBoi8021 Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 I'm surprised they didn't buy at least one of everything Zamperla makes! I wish them luck if they buy almost nothing but Zamperla rides. It will be tough for them if they get a Volare.
viking86 Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 I heard about that park a while ago. Sounds interesting as there were some rumors about a possible wooden coaster. Their website definately needs a new graphics designer though
BarryH Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Kansas doesn't have very many parks, so this will be a good addition. Yay! New credits!
socalMAN123 Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Wow, what is there, like 30 Zamperla rides! I hope this park suceeds, it doesn't sound half-bad. Brent "two credits" Shenton
rollermonkey Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Zamperla must offer good incentive to buy package deals. I've seen other parks outside the US with mass quantities of Zamperla stuff, too. Usually those parks have been around a while and have bought some other things to compliment the original package, though.
DerekRx Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 I think Zamperla does offer great package deals. They're probably also very accommodating with themes, and they must have 1 heck of a good salesman!
coasterdude5 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Yeah really, the theming looks great! I hope I get the chance to head out there someday.
ParkTrips Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Zamperla must offer good incentive to buy package deals.. Yea, I think that's the case. Heck, just look at Knoebels: Power Surge, Rockin' Tug, Baloon Race, whatever-they-call-their Wave Swingers, Galleon... maybe more that I'm not thinking of. Oh, and the Flying Tigers
Hattuchili Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 ... When I roll into the Wild Wild West - When I stroll into the Wild Wild West - When I bounce into the Wild Wild West ... !!! That was the first thing, what came to my mind! However, it looks like a good concept! The theming looks nice, too! Maybe I´ll visit this park anytime! --Sören
ECZenith Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 That kid in the third row of the buffalo coaster is PISSED!
coaster05 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 It is nice to see a new park going in since we always read about parks going under every year.
trustkill22 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I like the logo and thats all I can say. Oh and also the ferris wheel, Its pretty dope. But still the logo is sweet, a cowboy with a branding iron that has WWW on it. I like it.
christianscoasters Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I live about 10 minutes, away from WWW and it isn't going to be as good as it sounds. On the news, they are going to have a church in the theme park. A Church?!?!? In a theme park?!?!? They do want to bring in a wooden coaster by year three, but it's supposed to be fairly small. Their aim is a family park instead of a thrill park. There most thrilling ride would be the flipping action arm.
PkiJake Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Other parks have churches, Dollywood, along with other parks that I have heard of. -Jake
Calvin Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Wow, they actually bought the crappy Moser version of Tango. At least there's a reason to go to Kansas now.
QueerRudie Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I think Zamperla does offer great package deals. They're probably also very accommodating with themes, and they must have 1 heck of a good salesman! SixFlags America, anyone? They had a whole slew of Zamperla rides at one point (Notably the Iron Beagle, -ahem- Eagle) and the swings that have the 'less-nude' cherubs on them.
roasted_marshmallow Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 NO! They ruined my theming! I wanted a WILD WEST WORLD up here in Alberta! Dammit! Now I have to go back to the drawing board... and my park was going to have saloon girls serving drinks and cowboys operating rides and everything. ARGH! Ah well. It'll be good for Kansas... I think that's fairly? close to Alberta...
Ryan King Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 w00t! They Have the Sons Of the San Joaquin Playing There! Theyre from Fresno / Clovis! See! Fresno Aint THAT bad after all!
GURZU Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Always one more park is good, but this one does not convince me ... and besides it has coasters of Zamperla! OMG! A Torture! xD
Calvin Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 ^^No, Fresno still sucks. Unless you like raisins, then we are awesome.
bgwfreak Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Wasn't Wild West World the name of the place in the movie "West World"? That would not be good. If they have robots walking around, I'm not going! Even for two credits!
Calvin Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 That was just WestWorld. They also had Roman World and Medieval World parks (a scene in the latter contains one of the most chilling moments in cinema history).
