Do you like the simple rectangle layout of bumper car buildings or do you like the track version of bumper car buildings. I like the rectangle more because you can actually bump people. On the track versions you go one way and it really isn't all that fun. Tell us what you like and the best bumper cars you have ever been on.

Assuming track means the ones with the dividers, I actually prefer them because that sets up some spin-out opprotunities. Nothing like running parallel to someone and then stalling out a bit before the turnaround only to spin out your partner

I like bouncing off the tires on the track at SFMW. Somtimes I have gone in the opposite direction the whole time, and the ride ops didn't care! They said it was alright since there were only five people riding.

Track all the way. I haven't even experienced it with old, heavy cars. I had a blast on SFOT's. I felt the lightness of the cars made it sort of easy to spin people out. Lots of fun and total mayhem if somebody wrecked in front of another. The track style really reminds me of Destruction Derby and Demolition Racer for PS1.

I can't remember where it was, but I've been on a bumper car thing where it was a donut shape and we just had to drive in circles. Turning the steering wheel left was the accelerator, and turning it right was brake/reverse. It was stupid.

I like the track version because of the pileups and bumping opportunities they create.

SFNE has a great bumper car track in Crackaxle Canyon, the floor-powered ones.

Rectangle. I hate when they make you go all one way; I like to go veer off in the other direction, get some speed, and totally slam into someone that's trying to drive NORMAL.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't they switch Geauga Lake's to a track a few years ago?
