Philrad71
We got up to zero for a high today and it was -11 degrees with a -30 wind chill when I went into work this morning. Luckily, we didn't take the pounding of snow that Buffalo got 70 miles north of here...we escaped with only about an inch of new snow. Hearing rumors that they got 2-3 feet up that way in addition to the severely cold temperatures.
Nrthwnd
Another one I just heard about on the radio. BRAZIL is seeing current temperatures up to.... 49' Celcius.
RtherBOnACoaster
Wow, I cant believe I started this thread 8 years ago and its still going... Sunny and 63F, gotta love SoCal winters!

azza29
Hot and dry in Melbourne today. 42 celsius, which sounds much more impressive as 108 fahrenheit.
onewheeled999
A wonderful 70 degrees fahrenheit with clear, sunny skies. I don't know what happened to the mild winter we get here in Sacramento, but I'm really not missing it that much. I'm totally a fall/spring guy, and this is right up my alley. gisco
70 with no rain in sight. Big time drought ahead.
arby
Normal Carolina winter weather right now. HIghs in the 50s, lows around freezing.
jray21
Really nice for most people, but way too warm for me! Highs in the 50's! Disgusting!
SuperShawn
Snowing, anticipating 6-10 inches through today and tonight. Love having winter again!
gisco
Sunny and 70. The nights get cool down into the 30's. Haven't had any rain in 45 days!
Zem
It was in the high 60's yesterday but is supposed to be below freezing tomorrow with lots of rain. School might be closed since the roads could ice over and Houstonians have no clue how to drive in cold weather.
ArundelHigh Coasters
It's always very cold where I live in the winters, and very hot in the summer. I live where the water is, so I would expect the winters to be warmer, haha. We recently had a snow storm which left about two inches. The water is still kind of frozen over. Sephiroth
Hey look, it might actually get back above 0 F this month. Aaaaaand -50 F windchill.
Philrad71
I think we're supposed to hit -28 wind chill tonight or tomorrow night. I can't get over how fricking cold this winter has been! Not a lot of snow for western NY, but I don't recall so many days of single digit highs for many, many years.
arby
I hear you. We've had at least 4 days, now, where it hasn't gotten above freezing all day which is unusual for us. It was 64 today but the high tomorrow is once again only 29 and now they're calling for 1-2 inches of snow.
arby
OMG, they're calling for 3-4 inches of snow total, now! You'd better go get your milk and bread... oh wait, the stores are already out. You'd think we were getting 3-4' and will be snowed in for days.
SuperShawn
High of 23, might see some snow flurries tonight but nothing serious. Still happy to be experiencing an actual winter again.
tarheel1231
I might get some snow today. We got out of school early.
Angle O. Descent
Toronto has six seasons: winter, still winter, rain, August, road construction, and winter again. Anybody in SoCal or Florida looking for a roomie?
LiMiT
I live in Southern Georgia. It's been 3 years since I've seen even a small flurry. Now there's freaking 4 INCHES OF SNOW on the ground!!! Looks like I'm not going to class for the next week, because people in Georgia cannot drive.
arby
So we got our 'snow' last night. As usual in the Carolinas, the weather forecasters were off. Our 3-5 inches worked out to less than an inch of snow. Since we don't have enough equipment to get all the back roads clear for the buses and it's not above freezing yet (22 degrees), most schools are out for the day. Here's a shot of our snow. It took about 2 hours to go 5 miles including a 30 minute walk after we abandoned my truck.

I'm glad you made it home safely after all that and hope you can get your truck back soon.
