scbt Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Lots of rain and wind where I am (~20 min. East of Philly). Oh, and my house its making noises that closely resemble Intamin farts, I'm not sure if I should be amused our terrified...
Chris Benvenuto Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 It's been fairly cold and wet due to Sandy reaching in as far as here. I had to go pick up our porch chairs due to the wind throwing them halfway across our street. Well, doing that in 50 degree weather and in chilling rain is not at all pleasant.
netdvn Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Sandy's almost on her way out. We've been getting steady rain with some wind for the past 3 days now. Now it's just cloudy with a light breeze.
SmokiesFriend Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Being in the Desert SW, our high on Sunday will be around 84 degrees. The Summer, 'its a DRY heat!' Would rather be on the grill than in the soup. (When it is 110 and no huidity.)
SmokiesFriend Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Had a cold wave come in this past weekend. Next 10 days shows a warming trend again. Mostly upper 70s and 80s. Good, need the heat again!!
screaminkid2005 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Currently its 49 degrees with light rain. Not to shabby for mid December.
Zem Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 We were in the 80's here all weekend and now it is down below freezing. Texas weather is so disfuctional.
screaminkid2005 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 It's 28 degreese here and sunny. Looks like i'm going to be staying in my nice, warm, cozy bed today!
coasterfansince1999 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 In Chicago over here, its 71 one day, then 45, then, 28, then 65. Weather here is bipolar.
gisco Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 It was warm enough today to put the top down on my convertable!
theonetheonlyJT Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Weather here is bipolar. All my friends would say the same thing about Georgia weather but I don't mind it that much its warmer here than other places in the US and I hate the cold. Currently here its been rainy lately and now its starting to get really windy and cold, its very boring weather right now.
theonetheonlyJT Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Hope everyone has a very safe Christmas today because it looks like today could be a historic day in weather. Looks like the deep south could have a severe weather outbreak with possible long track tornados with the highest risk areas being in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Even here in northern Georgia we might have some bad weather at the worst time, night (hate when bad weather comes though at night). So stay safe everyone and I hope that you have a Merry Christmas!
VinTheAttendant Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 For the first time in maybe five years, we finally got a white Christmas!
Double0Kevin Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Rain, Rain and some more Rain. Usually I don't mind rain, but this storm opened up a huge pothole in the road that I hit Sunday night... long story short I spent the morning of Christmas Eve buying a new tire... Lame.
Angry_Gumball Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Unacceptable wetness here...Yes I like the rain and all but I don't like being in it. Was out Sunday wrapping up some last minute Xmas shopping when the moment I step out of the store, it's a light drizzle. During the long-ish trek to the truck the rain decides it's going to turn itself on full blast leaving me soaked...not amused. Of course, visibility sucked. Â Today, cold (by bay area standards), windy, and again, wet. I'm ready for summer now.
CpBluestreakCp Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 It snowed a couple inches on Christmas Eve but melted by the morning. Today was an overcast cold day, but changes are coming. Already a blizzard warning is in affect for my area. Should get some good amounts of snow, 8-12" I've heard.
gisco Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 The rain is moving out so it is partly cloudy and 50 degrees.
jray21 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 It's been snowing the past couple of days. I love it. We didn't have a white Christmas morning, but by the evening everything was nice and covered with snow! Should be a great year for snowboarding!
XYZ Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's been sunny here in Southern California for the past few days. It was just windy today.
ernierocker Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Ended up having a White Christmas in Dallas, TX of all places. The funny thing is the last time I was here for the holidays (3 years ago) it snowed then as well.
Philrad71 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 The snowstorm we got yesterday combined with the not so great forecast for Pigeon Forge caused us to cancel our plans to drive down to Dollywood yesterday - fail.
coastercrutchfield Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well, it snowed a bit a few days ago here in Dallas. But it's just been in the 30s and overcast the past few days. Â Yucky weather...
