HWFan
There was a power surge at the park this morning. I was actually on the Season Pass deck watching Freeze when it vallied. It was pretty cool, or at least that's what I thought jealously. A good amount of the rides were knocked out at least temporarily today. For example, Xcalibur was down for about a half hour. In Season Pass Services, the lights went out for a second when it surged. All I can say is that Ameren's new power connections coming this off season cannot come soon enough. Iron Wolf 90-11
I hope Mr. Freeze reopens soon. I wonder if it will reopen tomorrow possibly. Also, looking at the park hours online, why does the park close at 9 everyday other than Saturdays?

prozach626
Maybe they can put it back on the tracks facing forward...... (jk but I'd literally be at the park TOMORROW if that happened) So I guess I'm the only one who doesn't give two shits about the dark ride? Sf-Dad
^I believe you don't get it moving. Just remove it and place it where it should be. Or do you? (I don't really know) Call Wile E Coyote and strap on some ACME Rocket Boosters seems like the fastest and most efficient solution to me.

The important Word in my comment is IF. So I guess I am not very interested in the new dark ride.
coasterbill
Even if the dark ride is decent at first (nothing great but maybe a middle-of-the-road shooter) in 2 or 3 seasons the targets and guns will stop working and Six Flags will never fix them. If it's a regular dark ride then it will be even worse because most shooting dark rides use the element of competition to distract you from how mediocre the ride is. If it's a regular dark ride then when the animatronics (I use that term really loosely) break and are never fixed it will be even more noticeable. Six Flags should never build dark rides or anything with theming because they'll let it go to hell anyway. Our best bet may be something screen based like Wonder Mountain Guardian as I would expect that it would need less maintenance (and there would be great opportunities for product placement advertisements within the ride). parkjunkie
Check out this video of Curse of DarKastle at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Curse of DarKastle was designed by Falcon's Treehouse, LLC of Orlando, Florida. The 4D media was designed and produced by Super 78 Studios... Supposedly this is who is doing the ride, but another source also told me Sally was involved somehow. So if its anything like Curse of DarKastle, I think it will be quite good. KBrylczyk
^ Considering not even Busch can keep that technology running properly with any consistency, I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in it lasting one week at a Six Flags park without huge issues. It still doesn't do anything for me. I'm more of a roller coaster guy than a theme park guy. Dark rides are 'ok', but they make my juvenile hobby feel even more juvenile. I feel like dark rides are geared toward the younger audience, as they should be. I have no interest in ever going to Disney or Universal.
SFZIP
Sally Corp. is the company leading the 2015 project, there are probably other companies involved in the project, it's based off the Justice League 3D dark ride at Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia, likely with a different theme here (what that theme and official name will be is really the only mystery of the ride). Woodie Warrior
I wonder what the theme could be here. I kind of thought the alien stars thing were stupid so I'm glad they are theming it differently.
Sf-Dad
So I asked my boys (9 and 11) what they thought about a "Justice League" ride. They stuck their tongues out, no interest at all. So I asked them what kind of ride they would be interesting inside a dark building like the old Scooby Doo. The response was Minecraft! Terraria! Plants vs Zombies! Maybe my kids are weird and outside the mainstream and video game zombies but superheroes just do not spark their interest. It would be interesting to see the revenue and profit comparisons between DC Comics And Mojang.

I mean, look at Angry Birds. Now think about Justice League, that has been popular for a long time and even though some kids really don't care about super heroes, many do. Every kid knows who Batman is, but not every kid knows what a Creeper is.
