I'm really surprised they're actually calling it Boomerang, considering that Worlds of Fun has had one for over a decade now and calls theirs Boomerang. Worlds of Fun advertised the heck out of theirs when it was built, since that was the same year Six Flags built the Boss, so many of us in Missouri associate the name Boomerang with Worlds of Fun.

I wonder if they will go with the old train, or if they will upgrade to the new one. I haven't been on Carolina Cobra but I've heard it makes the experience much more enjoyable.

^You would think that they would make that investment since they are already getting a "brand new" discounted ride from SFOT. Of course, it is hard to ever predict what Six Flags will do.

^ That's exactly why I speculated. They are the chain that seems to just stick with the out of date trains when they could invest in a new one and still keep the whole ride below the budget of a modestly price new ride.

As texcaoster mentioned, the lap bar only trains that run at Wiener Prater are even better than the ones on Carolina Cobra. You put those on and complaints will diminish by 94.7%

The GP are uninformed enough to not care. As far as they're concerned, it's a ride with inversions and that's all they need.
