i think there is just too many stickys. once there is over 3-4 stickys it gets too annoying. I dont think there needs to be a whole new board, (there can be too many of those too) just maybe less sticky topics.

Ya I guess thats the best way Robb to trim some stickies off!! That way it pretty much makes mostly everyone happy. Just keep an eye on the stagnant stickies and do some more trimmin when needed!!

^ Well, that was the problem. Over the past month ALL of the stickies have gotten multiple replies EVERY DAY. But there are so many of them that it looked like of "cluttered."

So I basically unstuck some to see if that cleans it up a little bit.

Exactly my thought Stitch. Ex-stickies will always gravitate towards the top since they were obviously pretty popular. Just leaves a little less room for the other random nonsense! I never had a problem with the amount of stickies since they were all actively replied to.

I look at the stickies first then go on down to the rest so I really like where they are at now,I think it's more simple just to leave them there.

I would say leave them as they are. I kind of get the feeling they might get ignored as well if they were in a different spot seeing how the stickies don't vary too much from time to time. It's also nice 'cause each sticky is already in the forum it belongs like random or coasters and junk. Not that the seperate board is a bad idea! Just think it doesn't hurt to have them how they are.

I think a sticky fourm wouldn´t be so bad, because I also think that all the ex-sticky threads will be at the top of the random forum.

However, it is your decision and we´ll see what happen in the near future!

I think the ones that I un-sticked, if they stay popular, then yes they will be at the top. A good example is the "What was the last beer you drank" or "What was the last game you played" threads. They didn't really need to be stickied because they always get responses to it.

I do agree that the number of stickies just go to be too much. So now, popular threads that are responded to everyday will be right under the stickies, pretty much in the same spot they were before, and if one or two of them drops off, that might actually allow a couple new ones to take their place.

I think it should work just fine.

There are just too many stickies! Throw them off into their own sticky land. One day we're going to have to scroll so far in each section to get past the stickies, that they will have lost their value. We can't lose the value of our stickies!

I agree with some of the others...remove some of the stickies...and also maybe add a games forum...I do think there are WAY to many Stickies up there sometimes...and I honestly dont read any of them...ok maybe the movie one once in a while

So far this seems to be working ok. Personally, I think the people who want to post in the non-stickied "popular" threads (beer and game threads) know where they are and will find them and at least having them non-stickied give other topics a chance to get replies also.

Let me know if you guys all like it this way.

^^ The way it is now is much better Robb.

Although I would get rid of the birthday thread. Maybe it's my miserable Britishness but seeing as the same people say happy birthday to each and every birthday boy/girl each day, it seems fairly pointless to me.

Maybe it's just because I fear getting old and despise my birthdays.

^ You know I actually agree, and I almost un-stuck the Birthday thread also. What do you all think, should I un-stick that one too?
