The Yeti
This isn't really a stupid story, just kind of weird and freaky. On Timberwolf at Worlds of Fun, back in the late 80's or early 90's, two girls switched seats during the ride - probably just before the first drop, and one of them fell off the ride. My friends and I were talking about the incident while we were in line for the ride in 2002, and the lady in front of us told us she was friends with that girl. It's pretty weird, but she was telling the truth, and I felt pretty bad for bringing up the tragic story in front of her.

Hugecoltsfan
On my way to school this morning, I heard this on the bus: Guy 1: Did they put put in the Windseeker thing in yet at Kings Dominion? Guy 2: I don't know. Isn't that the thing that goes like this. Guy 1: I think, but it better be in by the summer because it's suppose to be 4 times taller than the intimidator. They definently have a 1000+ ft swing ride.

australianalex
I was talking to my mum about Arkham Asylum (previously Lethal Weapon), Movieworlds Vekoma SLC. Mum: "You know I don't think I remember that ride. Wasn't it a twister?" Me: "Um, Mum, what's a "twister"? Do you mean that coaster in the video I showed you earlier?" (I had shown her a Togo Ultratwister POV) Mum: "Yeah! I think" Me: "Uh no. Arkham Asylum an inverted coaster." Mum: "A what?" Me: *cries silently*
DarkRideNick
Once (at Six Flags America) a guest asked me if her Busch Gardens Season Dining Pass could be used at Six Flags! i told her it couldn't because they are seperate companies, and she replied "Well that's dumb!" coastercrazy 9
Once (at Six Flags America) a guest asked me if her Busch Gardens Season Dining Pass could be used at Six Flags! i told her it couldn't because they are seperate companies, and she replied "Well that's dumb!" For some people, there's just no hope... One thing I hate at school is when I wear a t-shirt for Dare Devil Dive (SFOG), having been there, the GP try to get on my good side, saying things like, "Oh, yeah I've been on that." What angers me is when I ask them what park it's at, and they say our home park, SFGAdv. They still get it wrong, even with the big words going down the side of the shirt that say, in all caps, SIX FLAGS OVER GEORGIA.
154bmag
Today, at SFDK, something that I see the GP to all the time, they'll get in to the flash pass lane thinking it's the regular line. As you expect, they later learn it's the wrong line and leave. This seems to happen mostly for the Boomerang for some reason.
christianscoasters
I was talking to a friend of mine at work yesterday about how I have less than a month here because I'll be working at Cedar Point this summer. She asked me what that was. I told her it was a very large amusement park in Ohio and they have 17 roller coasters, more than any park in the world. She insisted that I was wrong and they don't have 17. Instead, Elitch Gardens has more than than 17 roller coasters, so there's no way Cedar Point has more... Oh lordy. MayTheGForceBeWithYou
Saw this gem on Yahoo: they [Knott's] have one ride, Montezuma revenge... and i think it is old and out dated, i personally think that they should get rid of it and put in a ride like "wicked twister" at cedar point.... it is the same concept of the ride, take up the same space but would be better, and they could theme it Mexican but rename it... so what would be your suggestion to make this park better and what ride need to be removed And a reply: Knotts is a pretty small park. I agree that they should remove revenge. It was fun back then. Now it's to old. They never opened it for a long time. Last may I went to knots with my school and the ride was still closed. The trains were even not on the station.'it was in the middle of the track. Plunge is also a old ride. It keeps breaking down. Last time I wanted to ride it, but it was closed. There was even no water. They should also rebuild bommerang because that ride is painful. It hurt my neck. They should add wicked twister. I hope they buy more land for more better rides. I can agree with Boomerang being painful as hell, but Montezooma?
XYZ
^At least I agree on Boomerang being replaced. I always thought that it would be nice if Knott's never replaced Corkscrew and kept it there, for historical purposes. At least it's in Idaho. PriestofSyrinx
One night when I was tram loading at DHS, I had a guest (from Brazil) ask if the tram had a Fastpass line, and then handed me a FLIK card (Those red cards that Cast Members at attractions hand guests to give to the CM at the end of the ride) Thats still the strangest thing that has ever happened to me with the GP... alilstronger
When I was at Luna Park in Brooklyn this past Saturday in line for The Tickler this group was watching the Brooklyn Flyer they have and they were saying how its almost as tall as the Empire State building.
