gerstlaueringvar
Humm... Just heard someone said modern roller coasters use cables to hold the lap bars. I don't know about if the Chinese knock-off coaster manufacturers have came out with some new idea, as far as I know, cables won't click

glouthan
^^I like how the "sometimes" gives the idea that a coaster normally runs below 80 but, occasionally, decides to do 80. Yeah, that is another reason why that quote is funny. Here's another one: (Father excitedly tells daughter) "Powder keg is the baddest ride in town and you just rode it!" well, it is "the baddest ride in town" if you exclude Outlaw run and possibly wildfire. IrishCasual
It annoys me SO much when children say stuff like this: ''I went on this and I'm 9 ''This coaster is not scary I'm 6'' ''My mom shat her pants on that ride and I didn't cause I'm 10''
IneedTPforbunghole
On the TPR White Cyclone video: (posted 4 days ago) Reminds me of Psyclone at Six Flags. That coaster was painful to ride. It was dumb of the staff to paint it, give it a new name, thinking that would make it better. I guess they finally got the clue in recent years. Tore that sucker down. I'm looking forward to seeing what's gonna take its place. Still miss Deja Vu... -_- ...I don't even know what to say?

Someotherguyuser
When I was at Disneyland yesterday, people where lined up around the hub to see the fireworks. One person had her stroller parked over the railings in one of the gardens! Whatever works I guess...
rcjp
I was watching a POV of Skyrush and then I came across with this: Millennium force Ripoff! and also: This looks like a terrible version of maverick Yeah, because this even has a launch and everything, just like maverick. reissecup
once on this one camping trip i was talking to my uncle and i told him that i want to be a coaster designer, so for the rest of the trip there was a high level of gp-isms coming from him, like once at lunch or something he pointed to me and said "reiss here is gonna design the world's biggest roller coaster when he's older!, but wtf i never said that. then once he was talking about "the superman at six flags marine world in california", and at the time i still wasn't a full enthusiast yet, so i got cunfused because i knew there was sfdk and sfmm in california, but i never heard of marine world. when we got home i kept googling marine world but it kept coming up with sfdk so i was confused
reissecup
I've met an abundance of people that absolutely insist that Kennywood's Jack Rabbit jumps off it's tracks during the double dip. lol i used to think that when i was a kid

ilrider
^I can sadly top that. Someone last week told me his friend said he recently rode Goliath at SFGAm! When I told him that would be hard, since there is not even a lift hill constructed yet, he said, "Oh, I guess he was lying."

rubysparkles
Wow thats just like maXair in Cedar Point. I hate when amusement parks make a new ride based on what another amusement park has. :/ Everything at every theme park should unique. Lets destroy all the flat rides that are "copies". Shame Kings Island had one before Cedar Point, so actually maXair should be destroyed.
thrillseeker4552
This may not be as much of a gold mine as the other ones are on here, but when I was at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Sunday I heard a few teenage girls talk about Full Throttle. Girl #1: Woah look at that big coaster with that big loop!! Girl #2: Oh yeah that's the new one I think. It doesn't go upside down though. Girl #1: Yeah it does. It has that big loop, see! (pointing to it) Girl #2: No it just boosts over the top of the loop and comes back Girl #1: Ooohhhh

VF15
This list from Mensa (a high-IQ society) of the top 10 amusement parks in America is an absolute joke. How on Earth is Adventureland better than Cedar Point? I had never heard of Carousel Gardens before until I saw this, and does not look at all better than those other parks. This is about as "GP" as it gets...

WDW is a fun place, but is not the country's best park.
