I'm so glad that this made it's way over here. I saw this yesterday and immediately started texting it to people and laughing about it (Boldikus was obviously in on that too). So, I have a few observations:

1) He claims that he received the shirt and was banned about 2 years ago and ever since it's been under a pile of garbage in his room. I asked why there was a pile of garbage in his room and how long it was there and he responded with "pretty sure it was there for 2 years dumbass" so evidently this guy has piles of garbage in his room and leaves them there for upwards of 2 years at a time.

2) 1:08 is priceless. It's almost as if he didn't realize that if he poured a ton of gasoline on a shirt and set it on fire it would go up in flames. Luckily gas is cheap now or his dad would have been really pissed at him wasting gas.

3) It's not "proof through the light" idiot but whatever, "murrica". I'm taking a knee.

Oh and PS: This is why I hate coaster enthusiasts. Not all of them, but as scary as it is this guy seems pretty typical for the enthusiast community. Maybe slightly more insane, but not much.

I got a good laugh out of that too. Like, what were you expecting? I also love the huge gas can sitting right next to the flames.

Robb, how many people took you up on your free T-shirt offer? I love your responses.

He nearly burned his face off when the fumes ignited.

And this is exactly why this guy got a one week ban for his comment he posted here:

Dude. You just responded to your own post.

A post nobody cared about or thought was funny.

Kinda like this dude who lit his shirt on fire.

Am I on drugs?

You come in here and try to back seat moderate a post that is not even remotely serious? smh. One week ban for not paying attention.

Wow, that rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner is even worse than Roseanne Barr's.

Too soon?

I pretty much thought the exact same thing. Roseanne sang it better.

I really would not like to meet that guy. He seems mentally unstable, thinking the solution is FIRE to everything. I mean, if I was banned (I hope it never happens(even though I know I have been (am) close)) I would move on like any sane human being would. Was he as unstable as he looks in the video when a member. I do find it funny however how people on you tube are reading this thread and commenting about how we are all "kissing his (Robb's) ass" on you tube. LOL. Opposite sides of the story.

And what does singing the Star Spangled Banner have to do with anything?

Not that I'd ever claim to be able to get into this guy's head (nor would I ever want to) but here's where I think that came from.

I know you're from Canada so I don't know if this was a big story there (I sincerely hope not because it's a stupid non-story anyway and if it was it'll probably just make everyone in Canada even more aware of how dumb Americans are) but the big outrage in America is that some football player decided to take a knee during the national anthem. Personally I don't understand why anyone cares (I'd stand but I don't care what anyone else does because they have the right to do whatever they want) but a bunch of people got incredibly offended about it because being offended by everything is America's new favorite pastime (sorry baseball).

Anyway as soon as this happened a bunch of people started making videos with them burning the guy's jersey and singing the national anthem and a lot of them went viral (I know, this is pretty much every American stereotype rolled into isn't it?), I don't think I'm speaking out of school when I say that this guy is probably a bit of a redneck so he probably saw all of his redneck friends sharing the videos and talking about how great they were so he decided he'd copy them and become an instant internet celebrity resulting in fame, fortune and hundreds of women throwing themselves at him.

PS: As a disclaimer I don't want to start a discussion about this so hopefully that's not where this leads. I don't support the guy, I don't not-support the guy. I don't care. And I don't understand why anyone else cares either. I was just explaining where the video came from.

^ Yes, he made the news up here. And I remember and understood his reasoning to make such a move.

It was a bit wierd for me, when they played the SSB at my first morning opening of Knott's Berry Farm,

over a week ago. I didn't know where to put my hands, so I clasped them in front of me, out of respect to others around me.

And it was the Whitney Houston "live" version of the SSB that played for us, which felt a bit strange, too.

But nobody gave me the Evil Eye about it. Or burned a Canada flag t-shirt. (whew)

For Canada's anthem, whenever it's played, people just stand and sing along.

EDIT to add the " " around live.

Imagine what it must be like to be really mad on the internet. Then stare at all those crappy posts trying to use "triggered," as if they all hadn't heard a high frequency call to act against a guy who they think slighted them umpteen years ago on the internet.

2 years huh? Talk about holding a grudge LOL! I almost lost it when he was running out of breath towards the end of the song!

Oh I can assure you that the story made it to the other side of the Atlantic as well...

I think what has always been hilarious and entertaining to me is that all the years that people think I'm "triggered" by any of the hate is that I have been trolling them in the most amusing fashion to me. I openly admit that it is a guilty pleasure of mine to troll these people. If someone is going to go well out of their way to post stuff like this, damn right in going to respond to it! lol

At the moment we are at Epcot having a great time and casually laughing over lunch about all the idiots on the internet that feel so compelled throw hate our way. Keep the entertainment flowing we say! The only thing I'm "triggered" by is the pork slider & hummus fries we are having for lunch!

Here's something to that guy (and pretty much everyone on the internet), if you hate it, just avoid it. Plain and simple, but oh no, you used TPR's footage without permission and got your video taken down, oh well, better get more mental instead of doing the right thing to not cry, use a different piece of footage, and move on.

While I do think the video was ridiculous, I do not respect or encourage the people in the comments telling him to commit suicide. That's just wrong.

Nobody is encouraging that, but this is a YouTube comments section we're talking about here so none of this is really a shocking development.
