Gutterflower Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 (edited) Śląskie Wesołe Miasteczko is certainly a park I'd never heard of but it's been operating since 1956 in Chorzów Poland. The park has just announced a new addition to their 3 current coasters. Lech Coaster will be a 50m Vekoma looping coaster with multiple inversions and the following stats - 50 m tall, - 915m long, - max speed 95 km/hr, - sound, water, light effects, - capacity 1000 persons/hr I did a little digging and found some pictures and info. The POV video at the end is worth watching as the layout diagram really doesnt do this justice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfXIATzGmrs Source PDF Edited August 23, 2019 by robbalvey
RollerManic Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 That does look excelent. I like what Vekoma has been doing lately.
viking86 Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Woah that looks awesome! The first drop looks insane, and every element is taken super-fast! If that NL2 creation is an accurate represantation of the real thing, it's gonna be one hell of a ride!
djcoastermark Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Chcemy Ci pogratulować Lech Coaster ! Looks great ! Życzę powodzenia w przyszłości i samych sukcesów. Putting Poland on the destination map?
rcjp Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Looks great. Really looking forward to finding out how it rides given all those interesting fast elements.
RyanTPM Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 My god this looks good,i'm also very impressed with what Vekoma has been doing recently. Hopefully it'll have the same pacing as it does in that No Limits 2 recreation.
Rill'o'beily Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 If the pacing is the same as in the NL2 simulation it'll be a g-force and airtime machine!
ericthewanderer Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 How accurate was the video?By that I mean it's using Schwarzkopf-style track and trains! Is that what Vekoma's gonna do-use Anton's old designs?
thrillseeker4552 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 How accurate was the video?By that I mean it's using Schwarzkopf-style track and trains! Is that what Vekoma's gonna do-use Anton's old designs? I'm 99.9% sure Vekoma will not be using Schwarzkopf's design...it was for animation and layout purposes only.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Hot damn, that looks seriously kickass
gerstlaueringvar Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Off ride is definitely a speed up version, but the layout is SICK!!!
viking86 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 How accurate was the video?By that I mean it's using Schwarzkopf-style track and trains! Is that what Vekoma's gonna do-use Anton's old designs? Lol of course not, it's just a visual representation! But it's the closest thing available of the coaster styles in NL2.
A.J. Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 How accurate was the video?By that I mean it's using Schwarzkopf-style track and trains! Is that what Vekoma's gonna do-use Anton's old designs? It takes a lot of time and effort to create and use a custom train in NoLimits 2, even with the community's scripts. Why should Vekoma spend the time and money when they can just use a built-in style that looks almost the same as their own track with trains that appear to behave the same?
Jcoaster Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Vekoma had been advertising their new looper's for awhile on their site. Its great to see a new generation one finally come into frutation.
FLIPDUDE Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Wow, Vekoma stepping up their game and joining us in the new millennia! No more boring old vanilla corkscrew coasters, eh?
JordyC Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Wow, this looks awesome! I love the water effect. Looking forward to seeing how this will develop. Good job, Vekoma!
Ed Farmer Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I go to Poland every 10 years or so. Looks like I'll have some solid-looking Vekoma products to sample next time around. Great to see the coaster count in Poland continue to rise.
KingRCT3 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Off ride is definitely a speed up version Why do you think that? It only appears to be a small launch out of the station, that's it. Think Twisted Colossus. Here's the video surfacing again: I'm seriously in love with this coaster!
coasterfreak101 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Wow, between this and that Energylandia ride, Vekoma is seriously stepping up their game. These are some of the most creative layouts I've ever seen!
A.J. Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 The multi-looper is really back! What a day to be alive!
Dominos Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Great to see Vekoma making bigger and better quality rides! They recently posted an official layout on their Facebook page which they say is their 'next generation looping coaster'. I think it looks great and I can't wait to see the final product! It's nice to see that Vekoma's roller coasters are getting bigger and better over time!
viking86 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Vekoma posted a new offride video with the MK1101 trains added into NL2. Looks like a fantastic ride, love the pacing! LINK [fbvideonew]https://www.facebook.com/vekoma.rides.manufacturing/videos/1801753743444205/[/fbvideonew]
