michaellynn4
...one crazy ride, Tropical Storm x 100 It's almost worth going just to experience this ride. I'll throw in another I agree with everything he said, except I wasn't waiting for anyone named Rikki.
larrygator
For those that watch German Fair ride videos and say "never in America". Not true, this one is in America. Edited July 7, 2016 by larrygator
BlahBlahson
Are there any updates on the coasters? I will be there next weekend and I'm hoping for at least 2/3. The facebook page says nothing really.
boldikus
No updates at all from the park. I'm steady checking their Facebook page and nothing. Lots of comments about why it hasn't opened yet but the park has not responded. A buddy was on vacation in Ocean City last week and saw it testing a bunch (and still screeching through the twists) but never saw it with riders. They have been at work installing the Miler coaster, and if you notice are still building the stations/queues, so I'm thinking maybe they are just going to wait until that's all done, and open them both together? larrygator
Still at least two weeks away for Gale Force and three weeks away for the Miler.

mtavenger55
^I check FB all of the time too. I'm really hoping this opens soon so I can have 1 more beach day this year & get some new credits! The POVs I've seen on YouTube make me want to ride it even more!
BlahBlahson
Well this is disappointing. I'll put these two (3 as I won't make the trip) in the "just missed" category this year along with Lightning Rod and SFMM Green Lantern/New Revolution. I wish they didn't announce it as new for 2016 when they might miss the entire business season. Maybe I'll make a 4th straight trip to Wildwood Ultimate next year. larrygator
I wish they didn't announce it as new for 2016 when they might miss the entire business season. That's nice, the park feels the same.
Superbatboy
Work on the Miler continues. Great photos courtesy of Great Adventure Connoisseurs group member Leo. I know I'll probably get blasted for this, but that looks really ugly. Like Gale Force is such a good looking ride, but the Miler right on top of it looks straight up ratchet. I realize the park is strapped for space but the aesthetics are driving my OCD up the wall. End of rant.

coasterbill
Since the offseason really starts after Labor Day weekend this must be really disappointing for the park. Hopefully they get at least one of these rides open soon.
coasterdude28
I walked by Gale Force last night. Looks great. The color combination is perfect and it dwarfs everything around it. I'm excited to check it out when it opens. It is really close to the neighboring houses/apartments/hotels so hopefully the noise issue is worked out. There were a couple of guys in the station and climbing on the train. It looks like there is still quite a bit of work to be done on the station area, and they need to build a permanent fence on the street side. Currently you can walk right next to the track with no barrier.

While Gale Force looks like it going to be a ton of fun to ride, and I've enjoyed watching it go up, I've felt like it was ugly right from the announcement. The paintjob is fine but the layout and supports look like a 5 year old came up with it. The Miler only makes it worse. I still want to ride the sh*t out of it. In fact I'm getting exited to ride the Miler too.
djcoastermark
I kind of like the twisted mess look. Sort of like that "little " park in Sweden and all its' tangled coasters. (just a tad tho )

larrygator
I've never once been negative about the ride not opening. It is what it is, I was just giving an update. Didn't mean to specifically jump on your case. Just seeing as both pieces of information were posted on top of each other on PCC's Facebook Page I thought it was fair to mention the good news, also. mtavenger55
A recent comment from the park on FB confirms that they are waiting until Wild Waves is complete because they can't open Gale Force with construction cranes around it. It does make sense.
boldikus
The webcam seems to be working again and the Miler looks almost done. Cant tell if the station is done for it yet as its off-camera, but they've certainly gotten a lot completed around the Gale Force station. Maybe we do have hope for a brief 2016 opening.
