Beni_Rodriguez
Wisconsin- Hellcat. Illinois- Raggin' Bull Missouri- American Thunder Indiana- Hurricane Hoosier Hellcat is a very rough ride. Not nearly as smooth as Zippin' Pippin. Not nearly as high as Hades360. No known portion of the track like Cyclops; yet Hellcat is the best roller coaster in Wisconsin. It won't continue to be the best roller coaster in Wisconsin if its owner does not give it the proper maintenance it deserves. They need more traffic for their rollercoaster coaster to have the funds to maintain it properly. I'll contribute next year by frequenting their park. Raggin' Bull. This is what Superman claims to be. You feel as if you are flying in the air. 202 foot drop. Missouri- On my first visit to Six Flags St. Louis this Summer a woman from Missouri asked me, sarcastically, "what's in Wisconsin?". BETTER ROLLER COASTERS than Missouri. American Thunder it is. Boss? Seriously.....almost as poor of an investment as the Bears signing Cutler to a long term contract. Indiana- Hurricane Hoosier. I would have said Cornball express. That's how I felt when I left Indiana Beach this Summer while on my first visit there. But, after thinking about it for a long time this is the best roller coaster in Indiana. I can't wait until I get on it again. Edited November 7, 2014 by Beni_Rodriguez

coasterbill
I put a Carowinds cheat sheet in the first post of this thread. Amazingly the best coaster on the North Carolina side is Carolina Cobra until Fury 325 opens. Also I'll never understand you Magnum Xl 200 people. Every time I ride it I try to understand what I'm apparently missing but I just can't get over the fact that it's a painful ride. I probably ride it multiple times on every visit to Cedar Point just trying to find a seat that doesn't suck but I can't do it. I really, really want to like this ride because I know there are a lot of people that think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread but I just don't get it. Help me understand... lol

LuminousAphid
... Washington: Wild Thing (AKA Rocky Point Corskcrew ) Oh you'll be crying alright, if you ever ride it again... Whoever installed it here made sure it was extra-special rough for us Washingtonians. Or Arrow made it that bad, I don't know. All I know is that it's not the best in WA, unless by 'the best' you actually mean 'most painful.' I have only been on coasters in 3 states actually, and CA was long long ago when I was ~10, but here are mine; Idaho - Timber Terror, Silverwood Washington - Coaster Thrill Ride, Puyallup State Fairgrounds California - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Disneyland
Fingers
^^^ I get that you were trying to be funny by changing tense, but your post makes you sound dumb when you post: How do you know? It's not even built yet. and you go on to name coasters that aren't built as soon to be best in the state. IA: Outlaw WI: Cyclops OH: MF PA: Skyrush MI: Shivering Timbers MO: Prowler (only been to WOF) IN: Legend (haven't been since Voyage was added) IL: Batman (Haven't been there since Goliath was added) MN: Renegade TX: Titan (Haven't been since RMC paid a visit to this state) CO: Cyclone

Genx24
New York: Coney Island CycloneNew Jersey: El Toro Massachusetts: Bizarro Pennsylvania: Talon Florida: Expedition Everest Headed to California in October. I anticipate Xcelerator will be my favourite coaster from that state, but we shall see. Turns out that Full Throttle was my favourite California coaster. Oh, and Boulder Dash for Connecticut. Spokane doesn't have one, pretty sure. So this "best of" really is kind of meh for this state. It's either/or for The Best. As for a steel coasters, again, whatever Puyallup or Wild Waves serves up.
