coasterbill
I have a few updates to my list after this season, but I'll wait until we go to Dollywood to post it. While I really do love misty and mysterious mines, I have a suspicion that it may be getting the boot (See what I did there?).

chickenbowl
Connecticut - Phobia Phear Coaster (changed) Indiana - Thunderbird (new state) Â Damn, I was hoping Boulder Dash would be better this year... And a bummer about Voyage too
coasterbill
Voyage was honestly really good, I just like wing coasters more than most people and found Thunderbird to be a ton of fun. I do think Voyage may be a tad over-hyped in general but it seemed to be running well. Â Boulder Dash was a sh*t show. A lot of people are saying that one train is running significantly worse than the other this season, but since they generally only run one train on it we couldn't test that theory. It sucked a few weeks ago though, and prior to this year I've never had a bad ride on Boulder Dash in my life. I guess that rating isn't completely a knock on Boulder Dash though, I should stress that Phobia is a really good coaster with an awesome view of the lake up top and it's infinitely better than the other Sky Rocket II clone I've ridden (Tempesto) due to the lack of comfort collars and airtime at the crest of the first element. chickenbowl
Voyage was honestly really good, I just like wing coasters more than most people and found Thunderbird to be a ton of fun. I do think Voyage may be a tad over-hyped in general but it seemed to be running well. Â I am not a huge fan of Wing Coasters, but Thunderbird was easily the best. I just responded because according to enthusiasts, Voyage is easily the best in the world... I thought Voyage was pretty overrated when I rode it last year. Airtime was floater at best. Still top 5, but not the end-all-be-all I was promised after ten years of constant hype. Â I first rode Boulder Dash in 2011... It was amazing back then - My #2 behind El Toro. But last year it was awful. Two rides in the front and it was jackhammering and slow. I've been crossing my fingers that it was a bad train or a bad day or this off-seasons retrack would cure it, but I have only been hearing bad things... Such a shame. Â I think SRIIs are fun, but those Premier restraints are pretty awful for anyone over 6ft. I will be able to watch one get built from my backyard next year!
